Winnie's POV"Mom! Dad!" I yelled. "I need your help!"
Mom and Dad burst into my room. "What? What's―oh," Dad said as he covered his mouth with his hand, trying his best to conceal his laughter. Mom didn't say anything and began to laugh.
"It's not funny!" I groaned, only slightly upset at the fact they're laughing at me. "It's not my fault I'm too short to reach it!" I said as I pointed at the pot on the very top shelf.
It was almost seven in the morning, and we were getting an early start for Christmas dinner later. Ash would be coming over in about two hours, hopefully with breakfast. Domi and his wife Whitney-Rose would be coming at five to eat with us.
Dad laughed and walked over to me. He picked me up and put me on his shoulders. I reached up, grabbed it, and passed it to Mom. Instead of putting me down, Dad began to run through the house. I squealed and tightly wrapped my arms under his chin so I wouldn't fall off.
"Sammy put him down! We need to get started!" Mom laughed.
Dad chuckled as he walked into the kitchen and set me on the counter. He walked over to Mom who was pulling out other mixing bowls and pulled her close to him by her waist. He planted a kiss on her lips which she quickly returned.
I scrunched up my nose and covered my eyes. "Ew!"
I heard my mom laugh. "Now you know how we feel every time we see you and Ash."
I felt my face heat up under my hands and moved them to cover my entire face, not just my eyes. Luckily, a knock sounded at the door, saving me from having to respond to them. I quickly jumped off the counter and rushed to the door. I pulled open the door and threw my arms around Ash.
"I'm so glad you got here two hours early! My parents are making fun of me!" I said while my face was buried in his chest.
Ash and I had been dating for almost two months. My parents were annoyed at first, mostly because of the demon thing, but quickly grew to like him. I loved Ash and had told him so many times. However, the most we've ever done is make out. Tonight, though, that would change.
He rested his hand on my head and ran his fingers through my hair. "You probably deserved it."
I pulled back with a gasp. "How dare you! I thought you were supposed to take my side! It's your job as my boyfriend," I said as I crossed my arms.
Ash gave his signature nose exhale and pressed a kiss to my forehead. "I know, you're even cuter than normal when you're riled up, though. I still love you. Anyway, I brought breakfast."
I uncrossed my arms. "In that case, I guess you can come in," I said as I opened the door wider.
Ash leaned down and pressed a kiss to my lips. I didn't hesitate to rest my arms on his shoulders and return the kiss. I felt an arm wrap around my waist and pull me closer. I tightened my hold on Ash and opened my mouth when I felt him lick my lip. I moaned quietly when his tongue tangled with mine.
"Ew!"
I quickly broke away from Ash and snapped my head to look in the direction of the kitchen. I felt my face catch on fire as I saw my parents covering their eyes with Cheshire grins on their faces.
Ash laughed. "Hey, Sam and Sammy. I got breakfast," he said as he lifted up the takeout bag.
Dad peeked through his fingers at Ash. He took his hands off his face. "Nice. Seeing as our kitchen table is currently being overrun by baking supplies, you can put it on the coffee table. Winnie, can you get the silverware?"
