Domi sat on the couch at his, well, Asher's house, anxiously petting Storm. He started to get worried. On past missions, Ash always called him if he was staying somewhere else. Why would this one be any different? Yet, Domi hadn't seen Ash since yesterday afternoon. It had been almost two days since that time. Hence, he had taken the day off work and was going to beat the shit out of Asher for scaring him when Asher got back from school.
Domi sighed. "Storm, do you know where Ash could be?"
Storm let out a bark and wagged her tail as if to say, Yes! I know that person!
Domi chuckled. "Yeah. You're right. I'm probably just overreacting. He's fine. He's a big boy; he can take care of himself."
Still, he couldn't calm the racing thoughts of worst-case scenarios running through his mind. He briefly wondered if Baxter or Natasha had got to him before dismissing the thought from his mind. It wouldn't do him any good to worry about that.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang, causing Domi and Storm to look over at the door, Storm letting out a bark as she stood. Domi stood up and pet her a few times to calm her down. He continued speaking to Storm as he walked to the front door. "What's the worst that could possibly happen? He can take care of himself."
Domi opened the door a crack to see who was there before immediately slamming the door shut and crouching down behind it, despite knowing the person had already seen him.
Domi looked at Storm. "That. That is the worst that could happen."
Storm growled in agreement.
There was a knock at the door before a sickly sweet voice called out, "Oh, Domi! Open the door, honey, or I'll have to break it down! And that will only make me angrier!"
Domi took a deep breath before saying, "No one's home!" Domi yelped as the door shook with the force of a kick. "Okay, okay! I'm opening the door!"
Natasha beamed at Domi as he pulled back the door. "Hello, darling! So nice to see you again!" She said as she entered the house. Storm started to growl again, but one look from Natasha had Storm whimpering and backing up with her tail between her legs. Domi swallowed nervously.
"So, Domi, I'm assuming you already know about our friend Asher's little situation."
Domi slowly nodded.
Natasha beamed and clapped her hands together. "Great! Then you know withholding information like that is punishable by death!"
Domi swallowed.
"Luckily for you, Belladonna, Thorn, and Dexter have all agreed that if you help to capture Asher, then they will look past your little mistake. They get Asher, and you get off scot-free! You even get to assist with the execution! It's a win-win situation! What do you say?"
Domi swallowed the bile rising in his throat at the thought of helping to murder his best friend. He swallowed once again and cleared his throat. "Thank you, for your offer, really, but I'm going to have to―"
Natasha suddenly grabbed Domi's throat, lifted him into the air, and squeezed. "You're going to have to what, Domi?"
Domi gripped Natasha's wrist and tried to pry her hand away from his neck. "D-decline."
Natasha's face of false sweetness morphed into one of anger. She threw him onto the floor with a shout of anger, smashing the coffee table in the process. Domi gasped for breath and started coughing.
"You know, Domi, I tried to be nice. I even offered you a reward. But now, you will help us kill Ash and you will still die. Now, tell me where we can find him."
"No," Domi gasped as Natasha stomped on his stomach. "No, you bitch."
Natasha became furious and grabbed Domi's throat once again, lifting him up in the process. Domi's legs started swinging, trying to find something to brace against.
Natasha's eyes turned to black. "You're coming with me."
Natasha snapped her fingers. She and Domi were suddenly standing in front of the gates of Hell. Natasha walked past, dragging Domi by his hair. She walked to the prisoner blocks and stopped in front of Whitney-Rose.
Whitney-Rose's eyes widened. "Domi?"
"Watch him," Natasha commanded as she threw Domi inside. He slid along his back until he hit the opposite wall about ten feet away. "Or I'll kill you too."
Without waiting for a response, Natasha snapped her fingers and was gone. Whitney-Rose rolled her eyes as she turned to face Domi.
"I can't wait to finally kill you for what you did."
