Jane and Alix latched onto each other, leaving the room about ten minutes after Taylor and Rocky had left. It was then only Anne and Emily who were left, but neither of them moved an inch. Emily had a clear look of irritation on her face while Anne seemed to be distressed.
"I'm so sorry, Emily. I know that you're still pretty mad at me for—"
"Pretty mad? Try infuriated! Look, I know I already got a little mad at you earlier for this, but I deserve to know if anything like this happens! I don't like to think about what may happen if something like this were to pop up again. I'll head back first, so please clean up here. It's a mess." Emily sighed, rushing out of the room. Anne attempted to grab a hold of Emily before she left but barely missed her. Her hand fell motionlessly back to her side, getting ready to chase after her ad soon as Emily darted out the door.
"No, I need to give her space... I deserve this..." She grumbled. About a half an hour later, Anne finished cleaning up the room and finally returned back to her locker. Classes had begun a while ago so she ended up skipping first period. In the hall, Anne paused right in front of Emily and Taylor as they were walking to the next room together.
"Oh, hey Anne! We were just talking about how—"
"Um... Could I... Could I speak with Emily? Please?" Taylor immediately took the hint and went to her next period with a slight frown on her face. Emily looked up calmly at Anne who was incredibly upset. Her face drained of all color as she realized how mad Emily was at her. They both opened up their mouths at the same time, but neither one uttered a single word. Finally, Anne pulled Emily into a tight hug before releasing her to rub a finger over her hand warmly.
"Emily... I'm sorry... Really sorry... Can you forgive me? I didn't mean to be so inconsiderate of your feelings. Though I say that, you need to trust me more and let me do whatever I can to help you." Emily smirked slightly, beckoning Anne to come closer. She lean into Anne, pursing her lips against hers with a giggle.
"You're right. I should be more trusting of you. I guess that I still need to work on my people skills, huh?" She laughed, hiding her embarrassment from her attitude earlier. Anne's lips curled in amusement. She grabbed onto Emily's hand, escorting her to their next class together.
Hours tick by before the final bell rang at the end of the day. Everything seemed to be moving smoothly after the altercation before. The real problem was that no one knew where Jordan was. It was as if she had vanished from the school. The group of friends were getting ready to leave when a powerful scream disrupted their actions.
"Don't you dare just leave after what you did! I'm going to make you pay! No one stands up to me! No one!" The voice whined. All the people by their lockers turned around to see Jordan lurking by the exit with a clearly frustrated look on her face.
"Clearly someone must have some issues." Jane remarked with a twisted smile. Jordan must have heard her because the next thing she did was storm over to Jane and punched her right in her gut. Everyone crowded around her while Rocky and Taylor confronted Jordan. Fists were flying everywhere while there were many chants for the fight and a few screams to counter it. Finally, Taylor landed a blow to Jordan's face that caused her to fall straight to the ground.
"We warned you! Tell me one reason why I shouldn't beat the shit out of you for hurting my girl!" Taylor yelled in her face, trying to hold herself back for an answer. Jordan kept quiet and turned her face as a sign of giving up. Just as quickly as she gave up, Jordan jerked her head back to glare at Taylor before spitting in her face. Taylor immediately began to continuously pick Jordan up and toss her back to the group without a pause. The two bickered back and forth while attempting to land more blows against each other. Jane stepped in between the two with a hand over her gut as she was hunched over in pain.
"Knock it off! You both are pissing me off! Jordan, leave now before I get a fucking tazer to electrocute you! Don't think I won't, in fact, it's right in my locker here." She mentioned, pulling out the small tazer to show in front of Jodan. She flinched and ran out of the school without another word. After she left, Taylor fell to her knees while wincing in pain.
"Jane, thank you for that. I was about to give up honestly." Taylor laughed weakly. Jane nodded, helping Taylor stand on her feet again. The two chuckled lightly before coming into a short hug. Emily and Anne rushed over to the two of them to check if they were ok even if they were obviously not. Even when Taylor laughed it off as if there was nothing wrong she still had frequent winced of pain that flashed on her face.
"We need to fix you up. Does it feel like you broke anything or fractured anything from the fight?" Anne asked. Taylor looked at her arms and legs before shaking her head.
"I'm fine. I'll just have a bunch of bruises, so could we maybe head over to the orphanage to grab ice packs?" She asked. Emily nodded in return and helped support Taylor to stand up along with Jane. The four of them left without Alix and Rocky, but Anne sent them a quick text message to tell them where to go. Once they we're all at the orphanage, a swarm of kids hurried out of the doors with worried looks on their faces.
"Did you get hurt?"
"What's wrong?"
"Taylor, you need to get in now!"
"Oh my God!"
They all went in the orphanage to help get Jane and Taylor patched up...
