*A/N*
Sorry to all y'all who read this part already! I just took another look at it to see that wattpad didn't update the revision I did yesterday, so here's the rest even though it's not really much. Sorry again!"Taylor, why?" Emily stuttered, backing away slowly only to bump into a piece if furniture behind her. Taylor grabbed onto a table behind her, pressing a finger to her lips as she did so. She chuckled slightly, reaching to wipe away tears that had started to build up in her eyes.
"I'm stupid, aren't I? You and I both have girlfriend, but here I am after all this time trying to achieve something that is impossible to acquire. I lost your heart to someone else long ago... I just can't give up I guess... Hahahaha... I'm just a piece of trash..." She wept. Emily pressed her fingers to her lips like Taylor had just done and dropped to the floor, grabbing her knees and laying her head in the small gap between them.
"Mhmmm... You're stupid... I just... why? I thought you really liked Jane, Taylor... Did you just go out with her because you felt bad? Was it out of pity?" Emily asked her. Taylor shook her head and smiled.
"No. Jane... Jane is a really nice girl... I do like her, don't get me wrong, but I like you more than I like my own girlfriend... There's a fine line between what feelings I have for Jane and what feelings I have for you..." Taylor sighed. Emily nodded and laid down on the floor without saying a single word. "Are you mad? Here I am confessing to you again after all these years... I'm just so stupid, aren't I?" Taylor asked again, wiping her eyes.
"Yeah. You are really stupid. Have you told Jane yet? By your reaction earlier I'm assuming that it's a no." Taylor nodded and sat herself on the floor like Emily has done. She giggled in an uncomfortable way, bending over to avoid any further eye contact.
"I'm scared. I played with her feelings. I'm a terrible person... What should I do?" Taylor questioned Emily. She frowned and stared blankly at Taylor who was still hunched over. Emily didn't answer her, getting up to open the door to let both Anne and Jane in. Jane hurried over to Taylor and pulled her into a tight hug, but Taylor quickly pushed her away and stood up to move closer to Emily. "I have something to tell you two..." Taylor choked out, reaching towards Emily to help her. Emily wrapped her arms around Anne's waist, mouthing "No" to Taylor.
"What is it? What's wrong T-"
"I like someone else, Jane..." Taylor cut Jane off, retracting her hand and instead began to rub the back if her neck. Jane didn't respond and immediately looked over to Emily who flinched.
"You... You fucking girlfriend stealer! You have Anne, so why do you need Taylor as well? Huh? Oh, you must be one of those kinds of people... The ones who love having a polygamous way of life! You bitch!" Jane screamed, lunging towards Emily who ran for the exit. Anne blocked Jane's path, yelling at Emily to run to their room while she trys to calm down Jane.
When Emily got to her dorm room, she found Riley, George, and Joey all waiting in front of the room. When they opened their mouths to speak, Emily motioned them to keep quiet and opened up the door to let them inside before locking it back up.
"We were so worried when you ran off like that!" Riley exclaimed, draping her arms over George's shoulders. He jerked his body forward, shaking Riley's grip off if him. Joey hushed the two and turned towards Emily to speak.
"Ms. Ross are you alright? You look a little frazzled." He said, pointing to a few dry tear stains on her face. Emily smiled weakly and bowed her head.
"Not... Not really... A friend of mine just surprised me is all... Not in a good way either." Emily said, trying to keep up a calm and collected exterior. Joey took her hand in his and looked at her with a extremely concerned gaze.
"Would you mind if we listen to your story? Riley, George, and I happen to have taken a liking to you, so we have been worried about you the last few days." Joey said. Emily pulled her hand out of Joey's and rubbed it slowly, thinking on what to do. When she was about to decide, the lock on the door was unlocked and the door flew open to reveal a clearly tired Anne.
"Are you alright babe? I'm sorry, Jane was—who are these people and why are they in our room?" Anne asked, looking between the four people in the room. Riley smirked and stood up to shake Anne's hand enthusiastically.
"You must be Anne! Wow you're even more beautiful in person than your school picture! Oh, sorry, where are my manners? I'm Riley! The one who's closer to Emily is Joey and the one beside me is George!" Riley said, shaking Anne's hand as much as she could. Anne turned to Emily with a confused look, but shrugged and let Lumi out of the restroom and into the main room to be with all the people.
When Anne got back, she sat herself right down next to Emily and placed her arm over her shoulder and laid her head down as well. The group was silent for a few moments until Anne looked up at Emily as if she was asking about their visitors. Emily smiled back in return and patted Anne on the head to calm her down.
"I'll talk to you guys then... Maybe you can help me try and—"
"EMILY ROSS! GET OUT HERE NOW!" A loud voice boomed. Riley and Anne both yelped from the sudden sound, but George instead got up to look out the peep hole. Standing outside the door was Jane, and she was not happy at all...
