Anniversary

The ten continued through the streets,  looking for stores to check out. Of course, Jordan and Rocky headed for an indie shop to buy souvenirs while Ashley, Taylor, and Jane went into a Yankee Candle store. Derik and TJ weren't particularly interested in anything there, and so Anne and Emily headed off with Lumi to a clothes shop nearby. Inside, there was an array of different styles, colors, and sizes, so Emily hurried in one direction while Anne the other. While Anne went over to grab a few sun dresses and skirts, Emily found some flannel shirts and ripped jeans. Both of them chuckled at each other's pick and swapped clothes.

"In the end, we looked for clothes for each other?" Emily smirked, passing the clothes to Anne who in turn did the same.

"We should try swapping styles for a day!  That would be so cool!" Anne replied, taking the clothes she picked for Emily back and tossing her own to her. Both took off into the changing rooms and got changed. While Anne put on the yellow sun dress, Emily worked into the ripped jeans and flannel shirt. When they both came out, they noticed that they each looked pretty good in either style.

"You just want to stay like this today?" Emily asked, posing in her new clothes that she has yet to pay for. Anne nodded and took the dog leash from Emily.

"Sounds good to me! I'll be waiting by the entrance then, so see you in a bit!" While Emily paid for the outfits, Anne sat near the front of the store and played with Lumi. Once done, the three walked out of the store and back to the meeting point where Derik and TJ were. Only Ashley was back while the others were still looking around. Anne handed the dog leash to Derik, who was more than happy to look after Lumi, and grabbed Emily's hand before running through the streets, looking for another store to check out. Eventually, Anne stopped and told Emily to close her eyes and wait at the entrance of a flower shop. Minutes later, she came back with a bouquet of multicolored roses and a small card on top. Emily opened her eyes and gasped with awe as she took the flowers and smelled them. After, Emily opened up the card and a wide smile spread across her face.

"Emily, happy anniversary... I know we still have a about a half a year before our actual anniversary, but every day feels like an anniversary with you. Here's to, hopefully, an eternal passion and endless love ~Anne"

Anne wrapped her arms around Emily while she continued to read and pecked her on the cheek playfully.

"I meant every single word on that card, Emily. I love you!" Emily returned her hug and kisses her happily on the mouth before taking the bouquet and pulling a single flower out.

"It's also your anniversary, Anne. Come on, I got something for you too!" Emily said excitedly as she dragged Anne down the street to a bakery. Inside, Emily grabbed a cake she pre-ordered and returned it to Anne.

"I love it! Cake is my favorite, next time we should bake one together. Sound like a plan?" Anne asked, winking before she slid the cake back into it's bag, "We should head back now... Everyone is probably waiting on us to get back." The two walked back, hand-in-hand, laughing along the way. This time, everyone was there and once Taylor caught a look at their outfits, her jaw dropped.

"Anne, what have you done with our precious Emily!?" She cried, looking at Emily up and down. The group laughed and Emily checked her clothes.

"Come on, Taylor, it's just a different style I'm trying out." Emily said, winking jokingly. Anne laughed at Emily and bumped into her.

"I do not sound like that, Emily!" She exclaimed. Rocky eyed Emily and sighed.

"Man, you guys really make it hard on the rest of us!" She cried, hanging onto Emily with a saddened expression. Anne frowned and took Rocky's arms off of Emily.

"Look, quit touching her so much, Rocky. It's making me uncomfortable." Rocky smiled and stood up straight above both of them.

"Oh yeah? Then how about this?" Rocky suddenly leaned in and forcibly kissed Emily without any warning. Anne immediately went off and smacked Rocky across the face, "You bitch!" She exclaimed, attempting to hit Anne, but instead hit Emily who moved in front of Anne to protect her.

"Back off, Rocky! Don't make me get physical, because I will if you do anything to her!" Emily yelled, rubbing the side of her face that was hit. Rocky quickly backed off, surprised that Emily actually yelled for once out of anger...
