Taylor was still asleep when they entered the room, but they couldn't just sit there and wait to hear from someone else what had happened. Emily took the initiative to shake Taylor lightly and call her name to wake her up to get answers from her. Soon enough, her eyes fluttered open and she was shocked to see where she was at.

"What? Where am I? What happened? Guys?" She looked to them for answers only to be met with blank stares. Taylor then slouched in the bed and breathed in deeply as if she was in more pain than earlier. "Oh God. Where's Jane? Have you guys come to see her yet? I'm worried." Taylor questioned them further. Suddenly, her eyes opened wider and her concern was replaced with anger.  "I'm going to kill those bastards! They fucking sedated me, didn't they? I remember arguing that they need to pay attention to Jane in the ambulance but they ignored me! I swear I'll —"

"Taylor, she's in surgery right now. Connie must've been right. We know just about as much as you do. I'm sorry." Emily quickly apologized. Taylor frowned and looked as if she was about to cry again, but sniffled slightly and carried on.

"I'm weak, aren't I? My girlfriend is in surgery and here I am with a few minor bruises besides a fractured wrist and ankle. I'm pathetic, aren't I?" She asked, looking to Rocky for an answer. She shook her head and grinned sincerely.

"You're stronger than me, Taylor. Don't beat yourself up about it. You did everything you could to protect her and that's what matters." Taylor smiled faintly and nodded.

"Thanks... I umm... I appreciate that..." Taylor sighed, revealing a slightly flushed face from Rocky's words. "Hey, there's like $10 in my bag right there. Can you maybe go get a small thing of flowers for Jane?" She asked Emily and Anne. They nodded and took the money down to the small flower shoo in the hospital.

"I'll put $15 more in so we can get a nice bouquet for Jane. Anne, can you get something for Taylor? It would be unfair." Emily asked. Anne nodded and headed off into the deeper section of the little flower shop, bringing back a small red and purple flower bouquet. Emily smiled and searched around before finding a small boquet of white and blue flowers and then picked up four chocolate bars for Jane and Taylor. Once done, they went back up to Taylor's room, but no one was in there. Immediately the two rushed over to where Jane's room was a burst through the door to find everyone in there croweded around Jane.

"Oh my God!" Anne and Emily both exclaimed. Jane was in a deep sleep on her bed, but Taylor was still right beside her, twirling her hair around her fingers.

"How is she?" Emily asked. Alix looked over to her and gave a smile of relief.

"She'll be fine. She was bleeding inside a little bit, but that was because her rib was fractured a bit. They went right on in and fixed her up. Jane will have to stay in the hospital at least a week though and so will Taylor because she lied about only two things being fractured! This girl!" He puffed out his cheeks. Taylor looked away and wished to avoid eye contact with Emily before she could get a lecture.

"You're such an idiot, Taylor!" Emily shouted. Taylor laughed it off and then turned back over to Jane.

"I'm glad though because at least we will be in here together... I doubt that my parents will ever come to help me get released though..." Taylor sighed. Emily frowned and stepped closer to Taylor.

"Are they still...?" Taylor winced and then chuckled lightly.

"Yea... They sure are... It doesn't matter anymore... I doubt that they will ever accept me... Why do you think I stay in the school dorms?" Taylor asked, looking at Emily with an increasingly painful frown.

"Why can't they just love you for you?" Taylor closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"Because I am a deviant to them. It's in the Bible that I'll be going to hell supposedly, therefore I should be treated like I am already in it I guess..." She sighed, "I was telling the truth when I said that I two fractures from the fight. The rest aren't from sports or accidents, but I can't do anything... I'm weak, Emily" Taylor wept. The other three were unsure of what to say and so kept silent as the sound of Taylor's wails filled the room...

Minutes ticked by before a doctor had entered the room to tell us all that we had to return home or to our own rooms because visiting hours were over. Taylor remained silent, but her eyes told another story of a girl wanting to be rescued by her Knight in shining armor. Though the hated the idea of leaving after what had just happened, the small group left and went back to the school dorms. Emily and Anne entered their room to be greeted by Lumi at the door.

"Hey buddy..." Anne trailed off, trying to sound excited and happy but instead sounded incredibly depressed. She fed him and gave him fresh water before showering and getting dressed for bed. Meanwhile, Emily sat at her desk in the room without speaking for the duration of that time, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere.

"Emily...? Are you ok over there?" Anne asked, peering at her. Anne noticed that Emily's eyes were glossy and she was holding back tears, so she wrapped her arms tightly around her. "Tell me what's wrong, Emily... I can't stand to see you like this..." Anne pleaded. Emily spun around in her chair, tackling Anne to the floor. With Anne pinned to the floor and Emily on top of her, Emily had let go of all her emotions as tears dropped uncontrollably onto Anne's face.

"Why is the world so terrible? What did Taylor do to deserve such misery? Why can't we all be happy? It isn't fair at all! Tell me, Anne, is there something wrong with us?" Emily cried out. Anne's lips quivered in fear.  She didn't want to brush off Emily's question, but at the same time how should she answer?

"I don't think there's anything wrong with us... It's society that thinks that... We are just confused kids I guess who still haven't found their "special someone," but I already found mine! There's nothing wrong with us! Nothing at all!" Anne shouted and soon began to cry out as well. The two latched onto each other and load on the floor to cry out together...
