Emily gave a clear look of hatred and regret to Anne, gripping herself tighter and tighter until finally she dropped to the ground in sheer terror and sadness. She brought a hand up to her mouth, covering it to keep herself from getting sick to her stomach from remembering he past. Alix knelt beside Anne who was rubbing Emily's back softly to calm her down and spoke to her in a penetrating tone.
"Did he... do something like that to you two?" He asked, wishing to not make the situation any worse than it already was. Emily took a deep breath and exhaled deeply to keep herself from getting even more upset. She then turned her face towards Anne who was searching for a clear answer on what had happened, but it was easy to see with her stern but concerned gaze that she may already know what happened.
"That man... he... molested me... To make it worse, he made Taylor watch him screw around with me as if I was some sort of puppet! I couldn't do anything! I didn't have the strength to fend for myself, and Taylor couldn't get near him without getting smacked around!" Emily cried out, latching onto Anne for moral support. "I tried telling the authorities, but they all explained that they had know Mr. Colin for years and that he had been a great asset to the community... They didn't believe me and laughed in my face..." Anne's eyes twitched in anger. Her eyes shot up to look at Mrs. Colin who had now bent down to hug Emily.
"Ma'am, allow us entry inside. I demand to speak to your husband so I can exchange some words with him. I cannot just stand here and watch my girl become upset about something that he had done to her!" Anne shouted, holding onto Emily's waist as she leaned more and more towards Anne. Mrs. Colin frowned, looking back towards the closed door to the house.
"I'll let you kids in, but I don't want any of you to get hurt. I'll call him out of the study and while I do that you kids can sneak in and get Taylor out of there and take her back to the dorms. Alright?" She asked them, standing up to head on inside before them. They all nodded in return, following closely behind her to where the study was. The room was right in the middle of the master bedroom upstairs and Taylor's room. The group his in Taylor's room, waiting for Mrs. Colin to distract Mr. Colin so they could get Taylor out of there as quickly as possible.
"Dear, I require your assistance in the backyard! The neighbor's corgi got out again, so I need you to help me catch it!" She said loudly. Loud footsteps came closer to the front of the door before it was yanked open.
"We must hurry then. This one still needs to learn her lesson still... Disgusting piece of shit..." He grumbled, walking ahead of Mrs. Colin to go downstairs already. The five quickly ran into the room to find Taylor stepped into a wooden chair with leather straps. Her mouth was covered with duct tape and her eyes were covered with a black blindfold.
"Holy shit! Taylor!" Jane exclaimed, dashing towards Taylor. Emily looked to Rocky with a angered look.
"Take a picture. The police need to know about this. I won't stand for her father's bullshit anymore." Emily hissed, going over to Taylor with Jane. Rocky pulled out her phone and took a few photos of Taylor in the seat before putting it away to help her get out. Within a matter of moments, Taylor was out of the chair and the group had begun to run out of the house as fast as they could. They ran straight for the orphanage so they could take a breather and have a chance to talk to Taylor. Before anyone else could say anything, Jane nearly tackled Taylor to the ground and wept.
"You had me so worried! I heard from Emily about your father and how he... " Jane stopped speaking, covering her whole face to keep Taylor from seeing her cry even more. Taylor chuckled, but it was weak and depressed. Jane uncovered her face to finally see what Taylor had looked. Her eyes were both black and blue while there were rope marks around her neck.
"I'm just glad you came for me... Could I just stay here for the night? It's probably not safe at the school right now since he may go look there... He could also come here though..." Taylor sighed, shaking in fear of what may happen next. Emily guided all of her friends to her room, hiding them away in case Mr. Colin did come to the orphanage to look for Taylor.
"Stay in here and don't make a sound. If you hear someone coming then open that floor panel right there," Emily explained, "it was originally going to be a basement, but it was never finished so now there's just a short path that leads down. There's enough room for all of you down there." Anne reached out to grab a hold of Emily's shirt sleeve.
"I want to be out there with you." She said, refusing to let go of Emily.
"No. If he sees you then he will know that something is up. Stay here and keep quiet." Emily insisted. Anne saw how serious Emily was and nodded before giving her a quick kiss and closing the door.
Emily returned to the from of the orphanage to see Connie sitting down in the middle of the floor with a serious look on her face. She could tell that something was up, but before she could ask what it was there was a bang on the front door. Connie got over to the door first, opening it up only to be met with a rather irritated man. She was about to ask what the man needed, but he pushed past her and went straight for Emily.
"How long has it been since I've seen you, Emily? Years, right? Isn't today a school day? What're you doing here?" He bombarded her with questions while keeping a firm frown. Emily held in her anger, upholding a gentle and ignorant smile.
"Hello Mr. Colin. It certainly has been a while since I've seen you. How is your wife?" Emily asked him, deflecting his own questions. His somewhat calm exterior was broken and instead he lashed out at Emily for ignoring his questions.
"I asked you some things first, Emily! Now why don't you tell me what I want to know before I do some terrible things to you, huh? Or would you actually like that, you whore!" He bellowed, lunging towards Emily without giving her time to say anything. She fell backwards, hurrying to get back ip and pull Connie down the long and narrow hallways to escape Mr. Colin. They went on into the kitchen where Ms. Riley and a few children were before shutting the door quietly behind them and locking it.
"Oh, hello Emily! What're you doing here this—"
"Shhh!" Emily pressed her finger to Ms. Riley's mouth. "Taylor's father is here and he isn't happy! I need you to get these kids out the back door and take them to the small shed out back and hide in there yourself until I come get you!" Emily said in a hushed voice, pushing Ms. Riley and the few kids out the back door of the kitchen. She then pushed Connie to follow them even when she wished to help Emily. "No! I don't want you getting hurt! Go!" Emily raised her voice, pushing Connie out the door successfully. Just as she got them out, Mr. Colin charged into the room with a fiendish smile on his face.
"Found you... Now come here and we can have some real fun..."
