Emily had just finished packing her items into her suitcase and bagging up all her breakable and important things. Just as she got done Anne came bursting through the door with a extraordinary grin reaching from ear to ear.

"Guess what!" She shouted happily as she jumped up and down excitedly. Emily smirked and continued to pack a few more articles of clothing before giving in and asking.

"What Anne?" She asked with a smile, "This is the first time I've seen you this happy in a while." Anne chuckled and hummed a tune before jumping onto Emily with a few tickets in her hand.

"Rocky handed these to me after you left yesterday. We're officially going on a short trip to a awesome parade fit for our club!" She yelled loudly. Emily sighed and laughed at Anne ,who now had hair everywhere, and fixed it for her.

"So where are we going then?" Emily asked grabbing her bags off the ground. Anne pulled the tickets back out and checked the location before clearly saying "Oh my God..." Before Emily could ask what the problem was Anne screamed at the top of her lungs.

"We're going to New York City! It's for a... Sexual Orientation March I think it says here..." She muttered. Emily frowned and sighed loudly.

"Really? Oh God that's just perfect!" Emily screamed angrily. Anne looked over to Emily in confusion but didn't get the chance to ask her what was wrong. Immediately after she said that Emily stormed out of the house and hurried to school without Anne. Connie walked in on Anne and glared. She said nothing to Emily besides shake her head at her and leave her to her own devices. Anne soon left after Emily asking herself multiple questions along the way. When she got there Jane and Taylor were already there looking confused just like Anne was earlier.

"Hey, you know what's going on with Emily?" Taylor asked. Anne shook her head to which Taylor followed up with a gloomy look. "We were going to say morning to her but I noticed that she seemed upset and so I thought that I would leave it to you." Taylor said with a concerned gaze. Anne nodded and ran off into the school and quickly found Emily who looked like she had been crying this entire time.

"Emily what's going on?" Anne asked giving her a heartwarming hug. Emily sighed and turned to face Anne.

"Nothing it's just... I really hate New York City! It's so filthy there and the people are incredibly rude there!" She shouted. Anne stepped back in surprise and laughed.

"Are you serious? That's it? We're going to be in the march so I think we won't have to worry about much traffic Emily!" Anne said before dragging Emily to their club room. Only Rocky and Jordan were inside listening to music together until Emily and Anne went in. "Where's the rest of the guys?" Anne asked looking around the room.

"They don't get here until the last second. Consider yourselves lucky though because TJ isn't happy on mornings like today where it's absolutely perfect out." Rocky said as she messed with her messy hair. Emily nodded and walked over to one of the empty chairs and sat down.

"So when is the trip?" She asked. Anne looked back to the ticket and smiled.

"It's September 25th so in... three days.... yeah three days." Anne said with a wide grin. "Imagine you and me with all of our friends marching in the parade! It sounds like so much fun!" Anne shouted happily. Jordan chuckled and walked to Anne and lifted up her chin to eye level.

"Man I really wish you weren't taken..." She said clicking her tongue angrily. Anne smiled shyly and sighed. Emily then held out her arms waiting for Anne to come over. When she did Emily set her down onto her lap hugging the entire time.

"Sorry but she's off the market Jordan." Emily said. Jordan nodded and sighed before returning to her own seat and muttering under her breath. Just then a huge slam came from the room door and in came Taylor who had a few scratches on her face and then was followed by Jane who was looking at her rather nervously.

"God I can't believe those incompetent assholes!" She shouted. Taylor ripped off a piece of paper stuck to her and threw it down to Emily's feet. All it said was simply "Dykes like you should die". Emily tore the paper and threw it away to try and calm her down.

"It's fine Taylor I'm sure they were just messing with you..." Emily said frowning. Taylor stood and and hugged Emily sadly.

"I know but it was on your locker..." She said sadly before leaving the room quiet and full of depression.

"I'm sure that there's an explanation for this." Emily reasoned. Taylor shook her head and sighed once again.

"Yeah. Clearly they have a problem with us." She said clearly.
