Peggy POV

"WAIT!" I screamed suddenly, causing the taxi driver to slam on the break and the car to lurch forward. "Sorry, but could you actually take us to 1991 Ramos Street? Please?" I asked. Instead of a response, the driver glared at me in annoyance.

"I'll pay extra," I added. With a sigh, the driver hit the gas and started off in a different direction.

"Where are we going Peggs?" Herc asked.

"It's a surprise," I answered, a smirk plastered on my face.

Once I paid the driver, we all filed out of the car. As soon as Alex saw the name of the building in front of us, he started to squeal like a five year old.

"We're gonna be dads John!" he laughed.

"We're gonna be dads!" John repeated, giggling as well. He pulled Alex into a hug and started to cry. This made everyone really confused. Well, except for me. The look that Alexander and John had in their eyes when they first met Philip had said it all.

"We haven't even made it inside yet dorks," I said, playfully punching John in the arm.

"Okay, I'm SUPER confused," Eliza confessed.

"Long story short, I introduced these two to a little boy on the plane and they instantly fell in love. We're here to adopt him," I explained.

"Let's go inside then!" Laf cheered excitedly.

"Hello and welcome! Feel free to interact with the children," a cheerful lady greeted as we walked inside. We all immediately began to search for Philip. Instead, we found a little girl crying by herself in the corner of the nursery. She had platinum braids and must not have been more than four years old. It hurt my heart to see the girl so sad, so I bent down and tried to talk to her.

"What's wrong peanut?" I asked softly. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes before answering.

"Je ne comprends pas l'anglais," she whimpered. I glanced up at Laf, hoping the kind man would help me out. He bent down next to me and took his turn trying to comfort the child.

"Quel est le problème ma chérie?" he inquired. The little girl had a shocked expression on her face before answering.

"Personne ici ne me comprend. Je suis seul. Je n'aime pas être seul," she replied. I don't know what she said, but it appeared like it broke Laf's heart.

"Je ne l'aime pas non plus. Voudriez-vous que je vous tienne compagnie?" Laf asked, wiping the tears from the girl's face with his thumb.

"Oui s'il vous plaît!" the girl giggled while jumping into Laf's arms. He hugged her tightly before looking up at Herc.

"Please mon amour?" he begged. Herc smiled before replying. It was clear that he knew exactly what Laf was asking for.

"I have no idea what you two just said, but my answer is yes."

I smiled widely. That girl just found the perfect family. Suddenly, I realized that someone was missing.

"Hey, has anyone seen Alex?" I questioned.
