Chapter 18

Yoongi

I sighed as she yelled into the makeshift megaphone which is supposed to be just a piece of paper which is rolled up and it was so embarrassing. How can she do this without feeling embarrassed?? Oh, I just forget that she is stupid.

"Stop yelling, you're going to make yourself appear on the headlines the next morning," I told her and she totally ignored me, still yelling and waving at the children that walked past us.

"Geez, can you chill for a moment?? It is not like we are still in Seoul. This is Daegu." She placed the makeshift megaphone down and looked at me. "I'm sure that you do this sometimes as well with your friend."

I'm friendless, I don't have any friends.

"I don't have friends," I told her.

"You do, aren't Seokjin ssi and the others your friends??" They are but they can't be compared to him. He was my first friend.

"They are just my classmates," I concluded.

"Aye... Then what about me??" She asked. You're a very annoying woman who somehow reminded me of Dongwoo with your weird personality.

"You're just dumb, the dumbest person that I have ever encountered," I said to her and she hit my shoulder in return.

"I told that I wasn't stupid, I'm just not good at studies." Yes, she isn't but I just feel the urge to tease her since that my heart feels a little different when I'm with her. It is not that I like her but the way that she makes me feel so calm and comfortable is weird to me. I have never felt so comfortable with anyone else except for DongWoo.

"Fine, then you are a little smart." I changed my impression of her.

"Oh?? Are you complimenting me right now??" She smiled a little from the compliment that I just gave her.

"It's a fact." I crossed my arms and looked around the place. "Where are you intending to go??"

"I don't know, I thought that you should be leading me around??"

Did I??

I thought that she was the one who dragged me out of bed early in the morning even when the sun isn't up yet. I freaking had to get up from bed when I finally had the time to actually rest for a week at home.

"I would be sleeping if you didn't wake me up, I was hoping that I will get to sleep throughout the whole morning."

"I wouldn't have called you if YoonJi was available. She went shopping with her middle school friend and you are the only one left."

"In short, you are just using me as a tool when your roommate is gone."

"No, it is not that." She tugged at my sleeves telling me that she didn't mean that. "I mean that you are here with me too so it would be good for a Daegu native like you to show me around Daegu." 

I looked out of the window and noticed where the bus is heading to, I stood up getting off and HeeRa followed me looking a bit confused. "I get that you have your type of humor but this is getting a little far. We are in a weird place and it is quite far away from civilization."

"Don't be ridiculous, we are just in a forest and it is in the least bit of danger. You just watched too many dramas."

"These places can get you killed without anyone knowing." She whispered. "And there are a lot of snakes and all the creepy things that come out at night."

I ignored her and just walked up the slopes where we arrived at the summit a few minutes later, it is a low mountain and I enjoyed coming here when I feel stressed and needed someplace to take a rest. I went to a rock and just laid down closing my eyes at the same time.

"Seriously?? Did you just come here so that you can sleep??" She stood next to me with her hands on her hips. "Where is the touring part??"

"Can you just shut up and enjoy what you have here?? It is breathtaking." I sighed and soon, I was asleep.

I rolled my eyes at the one guy who decides to get off at one random stop, walked into this weird forest out of nowhere, hiked up to this weird place, climbed onto a random rock and dozed off on top of it.

"Yah, it's been 15 minutes since you have been asleep. Can you wake up now so that we can leave this place??"

There was no response and he was snoring, how can he sleep in such a timing?? I looked at the scenery and it was indeed breathtaking just like what he had said, the beautiful blue sky with just the right amount of white clouds and a hint of sunlight peeking through the clouds, creating a warm atmosphere to be in.

I sighed and sat down next to him, he had one hand on his stomach and I was admiring the picturesque landscape until I found myself staring at his soft but cute features. It has been a while since I stared at his face, the last time was when he was still pretending to be Kwon DongWoo and he was tutoring me. He is still charming and has me attracted to him.

Why is he so charming in his own way??

The wind slightly blew his fringe and it covered his eyes so I moved it away in order to look at his face the way that I wanted. I then remembered the fact that he lost his memories.

Did he know that he lost his memories?? How hurt must he have been to know that he can't remember anything from his past?? How has life been for him to cope with the past few years??

And Kwon DongWoo, what happened between them that they got into a car accident??

He opened his eyes and I gasped. "Why are you looking at me like that??"

"Who is Kwon DongWoo to you??"

I really want to know about his relationship with Kwon DongWoo and the reason why he became such a cold person.
