Chapter 37

HeeRa

I furrowed my eyebrows as I stood in front of the sleeping man, my arms crossed over one another as I waited for the man to wake up by himself. He told me that he would be up early and he is still asleep, how can he freaking lie to me?

He even promised me that he would be up before I even go into his room and he didn't, he is still laying down on the bed with his eyes closed and his mouth slightly parted as he breathed. What a bastard he is...

I kicked his bed and he didn't have much of a reaction, he didn't even give any response to me kicking his bed and he continued to sleep like it is nobody's business. How can he sleep when I am his room?

I gave one more strong kick to his bed and he jolted up, giving me the scared and I screamed in response. "What is it?" He yawned loudly with both of his eyes still closed tightly.

"What is the time now?" I asked him, standing next to his bed with my arms still crossed over one another. "Answer me correctly."

"8.15?" I cleared my throat and rolled my eyes in response. "8.30?"

"It is at 10 am," I answered and he just nodded. "What is with that response? You overslept by a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes, I showered and chose my outfit in that period of time and you are still sleeping. Can you not be so late the next time?"

He sat up in bed. "Relax, it is not like the world will fall apart if I am late and I am always late. Why do you want to be so punctual for? We are going out at 10.30am."

"But still we have to eat breakfast, don't you even feel hungry?" He shook his head. "Are you for real?"

"Have you eaten?" I then shook my head. "You go eat breakfast first, I'm not the type of person to have breakfast. I will meet you once you are done with breakfast."

I sighed deeply. "Alright, you win... I'll see you later." He nodded and I left his room, greeting the other couple outside. "Hi, you two. Good Morning..."

JiNa takes a look at my face. "What exactly happened in there? Did he not wake up?"

"What do you think then? I told you that we shouldn't do a double date that early in the morning, he wouldn't wake up at all unless someone goes to wake him up. Why didn't you tell me about that, Kim NamJoon?"

He was utterly speechless. "I don't know about that, I have never gone out with him before, he would always stay in his room." Then how the hell did he even make friends?

I let out a deep sigh and I walked outside to the open where there are a lot of restaurants to satisfy my hunger, I was planning to have breakfast with him so I waited until this timing but I think that it won't happen after all. This is what happens when you date a lazy bum...

I heard fast-paced footsteps coming behind me and he enveloped me into a back hug, surprising me unexpectedly. I thought that he was still in his room. "What the hell are you doing here? You said that you would meet me after I am done eating my breakfast."

"I made it in time to catch up with you and now we have breakfast now." He smiled brightly and that brightens my day instantly. "I'm famished."

"I thought that you were such a lazy bum and you wouldn't want to eat breakfast," NamJoon asked him. "You do all the time to us and now you are trying to be the good guy just for HeeRa right?"

"Aww, what a hypocrite..." JiNa teased
her cousin and he jabbed her playfully in the shoulder. "Can you not? It seems that you have changed so much ever since you started dating HeeRa, she must have made such a huge change in your life, you should be grateful for that."

I looked at Yoongi's ears and they were bleeding red, he definitely needs a lot of help. "Guys, stop teasing him! He is just being understanding and I'm not surprised by that at all, in fact, he is a very kind and caring person."

"He is?" JiNa doubted my words, she clearly hasn't spent an entire week with Min Yoongi, she hasn't seen all of his sides, the good ones and the bad ones. "From what I know, he is a very lazy bum who only knows how to make fun of me all the time."

We arrived at the restaurant and we walked to our seats, NamJoon and JiNa on one side and the two of us on the other, it is a very typical sitting position for a double date. I was not the one who suggested that we do a double date, it was JiNa who pestered me so much to go on a double date now that she knows that Yoongi and I have started dating each other again.

She told me that she was going to plan a birthday surprise for NamJoon whose birthday is very soon, in fact, it is today and she has planned a whole day of fun and activities just for her boyfriend and the two of us are just extras. We are only there for the first part of the event which we are not informed about it, she would tell us later and then we will act according to what she wants.

Even though I am not really up for that project and NamJoon is the genius of our class, he has very high intelligence and I'm afraid that he might already know of the birthday surprise before we even have a clue about it. But I had no choice, Yoongi and I were threatened heavily by the Joo JiNa that we should never tell him about anything and we would get into deep trouble even if we were to leak a tiny bit of information.

"I'll go to the toilet first, you guys order what you want to order." She tapped me on the shoulder. "I'll send you my order by text, you know what it is." And she ran off to the back where the toilet is at.

I looked at Min Yoongi and he is already looking at the menu, NamJoon as well, they were indeed very focused on eating and Min Yoongi is not even looking at his phone to see what JiNa had sent him.

JiNa

I am going to run to the cake shop, you guys tell him that I have a terrible stomachache and I will not be able to be here for the rest of the day.

I heard a knock on the table and I looked up, NamJoon was staring at me very intensely and I feel so scared all of a sudden. "Now, tell me what she had planned for my birthday."
