I sat down at my desk just scrolling through my social media account for some updates about my followers' social lives, they are all leading their wonderful lives in their own wonderful ways, some of them are working in huge companies in the nation and some of them are based overseas and I am envious of their lives pretty much every single time I look at the photos and videos that they have posted online.

How are they leading such magical lives when I am stuck in a small company and getting a job position of small significance? It has been 3 years since I have started working there and there isn't an increase in my salary nor I have learned much in the whole 3 years in this particular company.

It is a small music producing company that is being bought over by another bigger music company which is also known as one of the Big 3, Yoongi oppa is also working there as one of their producers and he has released a few songs in the past few years under the name Suga which I don't know what it meant. Is it because he is pale as sugar?

Anyways, even someone like him is more successful than me, this just proves that I am not good in my job and other people have their dreams and they have the means of making it come true. And I don't, because I am not good in my studies and I barely passed my examinations, to begin with.

Min Yoongi has tried his best to help me pass my examinations and he has arranged me to have tuition lessons with him every single day after school, I wasn't spared on the weekends either and he didn't give me any slack even if I am his girlfriend.

"I am trying my very best to help you for you to excel in your examinations by trying every single way to help you, if you dare to fail, we are over." Those are the words that kept me going on during those last few months of school leading up to the examinations, he said that to threaten me to start studying and to study extremely hard that I would make a miracle and pass my examinations where I have never done that, it's the hardest obstacle in my life and the only way to pass the examinations is a miracle and somehow I did it, everyone was very shocked that I actually did something that the usual Han HeeRa would never do.

I remembered that everyone in school used to congratulate me for what I have done and they have even offered to throw me a party and invite me to that very party but Min Yoongi insisted that I should never join any of their parties because he didn't want me to get into trouble but he also threw a little party which is mostly planned by his friends and he is just there for food, and he decided to bring me there because there will be food and he wouldn't want to buy me any dinner. I didn't really mind him saving money on dinner because we are still students and it is more fun partying with your best friends and spending the night together doing the things that make you happy.

But now high school is over and I am back at square one, being an idiot in everything that involves me having to solve any problem, I am weak in doing that and that hardly even improved even though I have received specially tailored tuition lessons from one of the top students in the school. What did I even spend 3 years in high school for?

It is no use thinking back on it now because it has passed and I am in a new chapter of my life right now, the working lifestyle that I haven't gotten used to it yet but surely I will master it by the time I turn 30 years old. Will I get married by then?

It would be good to get married now because I am still young and I don't need to work anymore if Min Yoongi is willing to provide for me but I doubt so that would ever happen because he wouldn't ever want to take care of me, he may love me a lot but he wants me to be self-independent as well because he is self-independent, to begin with. He wanted someone who knows how to take care of her own problems unless it gets too serious and needed a second person to be involved but most of the time, I haven't called him to tell him to help me settle stuff that I can't do it myself.

But honestly, I am still not the best girlfriend that he can have, he is becoming more and more famous as the years go by but I still remain the same, I never improve and continue to be the same for the past 3 years. I am worried about our future as a couple, he may want to be with me for now but I can't say for certain that he would marry me to be his wife. He wouldn't want to marry an idiot and spend the rest of his life with his idiotic wife and his children which probably be dumb as well thanks to my genes.

I received a message from Min Yoongi around 6 pm telling me that he would be meeting me outside my workplace and he had booked us a decent restaurant to have dinner with and it is the very restaurant that his friend Kim SeokJin is working there as the manager, I bet that he chose that restaurant so that he could get some special discounts for dining there because we are his friends.

He was dressed in his usual black outfit and he looked like he is going to rob the bank in that outfit, I'm surprised that the security guard I didn't try to take down information about his ID to make sure that he isn't a suspicious person who is going to do some shady things to the company that I am working in.

"How's your day?" He asked me as soon as we left the building. "Is it good or bad? I bet that it is a good day."

"It is a bad day, I barely had anything to do all day and I spent the entire day just scrolling my social media," I told him honestly about my boring day, he doesn't like it when I beat around the bush and I don't like it either, it takes a lot of effort to come up with the best excuse to avoid the problem.

"You could come to my company if you want to, they are opening up a lot of new job positions and there is the position of the manager where you take care of a group of boys."

"Is the pay good? Will it be enough to support me for a good few months?" He smacked me on the head. "Can't I think about money? I am 23 this year and I have a plan to buy my own place by the age of 30, I have to make sure that I have enough money first."

He keeps quiet for a while and I looked at him, wondering what went wrong when he is just staring at the restaurant in front of us, gesturing to me that we have arrived at our destination. "I'm here for a reservation for Mr Min Yoongi." He told the staff and she led us to one of the VIP dining rooms, where I sat down from the chair that he pulled out for me. Did he get paid today?

It is weird for him to do all of those things because he isn't that kind of person, to begin with, he is such a cold and stoic person that barely smiled at anyone or even looked at anyone in the face. Maybe he is that comfortable with me that he is able to do all of these things without batting an eyelash but there is one thing that tells me that he isn't comfortable with it, his ears are a glowing red and it doesn't fade even after he is done doing one of the fancy things that he wouldn't even do it on a regular basis.

SeokJin opens the door. "I see that you guys are dining here on your 3rd anniversary, that's extremely nice and don't worry, everything is on the house because you are one of the best customers that we have here."

"Thank you for doing that, SeokJin. You are indeed the best teacher and friend that anyone can ask for." He smiled. "Will the alcohol be on the house as well?"

"If Min Yoongi is paying for it, it would be free." He commented and Min Yoongi just sighed, pointing to one of the wines on the menu. "So, red wine? What great choice you have for such a special occasion." And he leaves, like how he did for every lesson in school.

After his internship, he immediately quitted that job and searched for a job that earns him enough money for him to do anything he wants and plus, he is the son of the CEO of this restaurant chain. He could have just spent his life taking the money from the profits of the restaurant but he chose not because he wanted to pursue his dreams as a manager of the restaurant. At least he has a very stable job...

"Why are you being so generous today? Did you just got a raise from your job?" I asked as soon as we get settled in comfortably.

"Today is our anniversary and I would like to make it up for last year." He simply said. "I am really bad last year right?"

I nodded. "So what do you have in plan for me this year? Is it enough for me to cry?"
