Chapter 8

Yoongi

"We will be back in a while," I said while dragging Ji Na behind me. I dragged her all the way to somewhere isolated - the rooftop so that no one would hear my conversation with me and her.

I released the grip on her wrist and I stood against the wall, waiting for her to speak. Her hand went towards my left cheek and a sharp slapping sound can be heard very clearly. Her hands were grabbing onto my collar very aggressively and she was fuming with anger. This is no doubt as she just found out that her dear cousin is the person right in front of her and the fact that I was deceiving her dear friend. "What's wrong with you?? Did you played too much basketball and now you want to play with my friend's feelings?? Did you know how fragile her heart is??"

"I know, that's exactly my motive. I want her to give up everything, including the center position of the basketball team forever." I said and she released the grip on my shirt collar.

I straightened my shirt collar and tidied up my hair, even fixing my glasses too. "You are crazy, too crazy. You're the craziest person that I have ever met in my entire life. How did Gomo even taught you?? Are you even a human to begin with??"

"Ever heard of Hyde and Jekyll?? I'm exactly that." I said coming closer to her and she immediately turned away. 

"What did Hee Ra even do to you?? What does she even deserve to be treated like this??"

"SHE TOOK ALL THE ATTENTION AWAY FROM ME!! HOW WOULD I NOT DO ANYTHING??" I said, my Hyde side coming in one second. Go back, Min Yoongi. "I only wanted to take back all I deserved, can't I even do that for myself??"

"Even so, this is not the right way to do things. Just play your role well and you can get equal attention as Hee Ra."

"NO!!" I said. "She can do other things like swimming or even weightlifting. I don't get why she wants to do basketball."

The door opened and it revealed Han Hee Ra with tears streaming down her cheeks. "Because that's my passion, my only hobby that I would feel the happiest at any time of the day." God, she found out...

"Hee Ra..."

"That's okay Ji Na, you don't have to stand up for me because I can stand up for myself," I said closing the gap between the both of us.

"Glad that you know what is happening so that I don't have to pretend anymore." He said taking off my glasses and smashed it on the floor with my feet.

"I was wondering why someone so similar to you was pretending to be my tutor. So it's you, Kwon DongWoo sunbaenim or I say Min Yoongi. My guess was right, so this is all a lie. You want me to give up the center position?? Never ever." I said and tore up the black notebook that belonged to him.

I brought the notebook along with me while tailing behind the both of them. I just had the gut feeling that something is odd with him. "Hey!! Don't tear it up!!" He yelled but it was already in pieces and on the floor. The thunder roared at the same time and raindrops began to fall. It's raining.

"It hurts right?? That's how I felt when you took away my center position." I stomped the pieces of paper that are further smashed up by the rain. He pushed me away slightly and bent down retrieving the lumps of paper. Why is he so concerned about the pieces?? Don't composers have a separate copy of it saved in their thumb drive or something like that??

"It's just pieces of paper, why are you so concerned about its condition??" I said and he glared at me.

"You wouldn't understand because your IQ is only at an average level." He said. Say what??

"Are you saying that I'm stupid??" I said pushing him.

"Don't you know?? You are the dumbest person that I ever met." He said pushing me back.

"Guys, that's enough..." Ji Na came in between the both of us and tried to separate the both of us but she failed. She was pushed to the floor.

"Get out of the way, we are in a fight." The both of us said in unison and started fighting each other for real. I punched him while he pulls my hair. Then a pair of arms pulled me away from him and he was too, pulled away by someone else. Kim NamJoon was holding onto me while another guy was holding onto him. He must be Kim Seokjin Seonsaeng if I'm not wrong, he is an intern teacher.

"Stop the fighting right now!! Get into the shelter right now, all of you!!" The principal shouted and the both of them stood upright immediately. All of us got into the shelter covering ourselves with towels and all because we were all soaked to the skin. Min Yoongi and I were summoned to the principal's office and we were still covered in towels even though the both of us had taken a warm shower. I don't know about him but I certainly did.

"Min Yoongi and Han Heera, I don't know what the hell happened with the both of you but this kind of behavior is not accepted into this school. Don't you know??"

"Yes..." We both said in unison. I wiped my wet hair with the towel at the same time.

"Han Hee Ra, what exactly happened?? I heard it all from Ji Na HakSaeng and NamJoon HakSaeng but I need to know exactly what happened."

"He pretended to tutor me and he wanted to snatch away my center position of the basketball team."

"Ok, why??"

"I wasn't wanting to snatch away, you were the one. You were the one who joined the basketball team despite being a girl. A girl can't play basketball no matter what."

"Why can't I play basketball while you can?? Because I'm a girl?? What kind of a reason is that??"

"I agree with Hee Ra." The principal said making us look at him. "So, to be fair, the both of you would be unable to play on the basketball team. Instead, you have to do everything together from now on."

"Say what again??" We both shouted in unison.

"Do everything together?? Are you out of your mind, Principal Kim??" Min Yoongi said.

"We are already fighting, do you have to do this??" I said and he nodded, agreeing with my point.

"Since the both of you already matched up so well, it won't be an issue. Special classes for the both of us will start after the exams."

"But it is the holidays, we have to go back to our hometowns. Do we have to go back together?? Are you kidding me??"

"Do I look like I'm kidding?? Go back to your rooms, you are going to catch a cold if you don't."

"But--"

"No buts, that's your punishment." That's a very good punishment, Principal Kim.
