I feel really threatened right now and I want to get out of it right away but I can't, with Kim NamJoon staring at me so intensely like that demanding me to tell him everything that his girlfriend had planned for his birthday surprise. I looked at Min Yoongi and he is still looking at the menu, it is as if he didn't know anything at all and he was cut off from the world. Min Yoongi, can you please be a little conscious of what is happening around you?

I then looked around the restaurant for a desperate plea of help, maybe someone around here can help me other than my useless boyfriend who is ignoring my calls for help. I jumped up in fright at the loud slam on the table once again. "Stop looking around! No one is going to help me here other than you, so please tell me what JiNa had prepared for me today. I really want to know so that I wouldn't be so surprised later, I want to look cool in front of her."

"Then you should know nothing, that is the main point of it." That came from Yoongi who has now adverted his eye line to the both of us, especially NamJoon. "You should pretend that you know nothing at all so you wouldn't spoil the fun."

"But I have already know the first part of the surprise, it is the two of you." My eyes widened at his words. Exactly how smart is he?

"Nope, it is wrong. Our double date wasn't the surprise, it was planned from the start." He took a sip of his drink. "And it only consisted of all of us having breakfast, we will go our separate ways after that." Is he telling him about the surprise? "That's the end of the surprise."

NamJoon's eyes gleamed up as he pestered Yoongi for more clues, I was clearly enjoying the moment as I took the time to look through the menu like what he did a moment ago. This is what you get when you don't listen to instructions...

"Tell me more about it, Min Yoongi ssi..." He shook Yoongi, begging him for answers while I watched the two of them, laughing silently at them. "Tell me everything that you know, she must have told you the plan to some extent right?"

He looked up at NamJoon. "You know, NamJoon? Sometimes it is best that we know nothing and then we wouldn't anticipate anything, the impact will come to you better and you will feel happier than to know everything now. It is pointless pretending to be happy when you have known everything, it spoils your mood even more."

I take my words back now, Min Yoongi is really a genius after the real genius Kim NamJoon. "That's exactly my point, we could tell you everything but it would just spoil the fun. And plus, today is your special day and I bet JiNa has planned an entire day of fun just for you, you don't need your intelligence for that, just anticipate and enjoy what it is going to happen." I told him and he slowly nodded.

"You guys are right, I am doing all of this just to make myself unhappy rather than to pretend that I didn't know of the surprise and wait for what JiNa has in it for me." NamJoon nodded once again. "Is she going to come back anytime soon?"

She will, after buying your birthday cake from the cake shop somewhere far away from here. "She will, eventually. We will have breakfast first until she gives us the next clue to this whole plan."

We had breakfast as a trio with NamJoon constantly looking over at the window to see if JiNa has returned back from the cake shop which he had no clue of, he only knew that she went away for a very long time. The phone dinged and it was my signal to act discreetly so that NamJoon doesn't know about that as he continues to eat his breakfast.

Emergency (Code Blue)

I really have a stomachache and the birthday surprise might have to get cancelled, you guys entertain him for a while more. And I might be laying down in bed all day as well.

Why do the cousins have the same problem with their bowels? Min Yoongi also had to cancel on our tutoring session because he got stomachache midday and he was stuck in the bathroom for a few hours, and now it had happened to his cousin JiNa who is wanting to cancel the birthday surprise because she is stuck in the bathroom.

I looked towards Yoongi who is giving me the same look that I am giving him, I don't know exactly how we are going to entertain him for the next few hours. And then we looked towards NamJoon who had just finished eating his breakfast and is now drinking a glass of water.

"You guys can go already right?" He asked me. "Why are you guys looking at me like that? What did JiNa say to the two of you?"

I might really think that I tell him the truth. "NamJoon, can you visit the pharmacy and get some pills for diarrhoea? JiNa is undergoing some emergency right now."

His face was serious. "Is this a cousin thing that they all get stomachaches very easily? This is the 3rd time that JiNa has cancelled an event because she is stuck in the bathroom." So this isn't the first time that happened to him? "She should really cut down on eating all of those sour things." I agree as well.

He ran off to the restaurant and to the nearest pharmacy as soon as he said that and he nearly knocked over a potted plant right next to the pharmacy, I deeply sighed and Min Yoongi did the same as well. "How much sour stuff do you even take in one day?" I asked him and he just shrugged.

"She is just feeling a little nervous, you do know that she gets the stomachaches whenever she is nervous." And then he let out a smile. "But now the two problematic people are out of here, we can really go on a date at last. It's annoying knowing that we have to spend the first few hours with another couple." He took my hand and I feel the flutters in my heart. How many times do I want to fall in love with this guy?
