Silverpaw was padding alongside Superstar with about a bazillion pieces of freshkill in her jaws. Her mentor always praised her for being such a marvelous hunter. It was such a shame that her useless brother couldn't catch diddly squat. He was such an embarrassment.
The two cats padded into camp and dropped their prey into the pile. Cats immediately began surrounding them to dish out praises and compliments. Silverpaw ignored the admirers and spotted Brownkit sulking off to the side. Being the incredibly warm, kind-hearted, and perfect she-cat that she was, she trotted up to him gleefully.
"Hey, bro! How are you?"
Brownpaw flicked his ear in annoyance. "Another dreadful day of dreadful existence."
Silverpaw tilted her head and laughed. "Oh, don't be such a Negative Nelly. Today is a great day to be alive!"
"Go away, please." Brownpaw turned away from her and lay down.
"Aw... but why? The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and Superstar's rainbow farts are just shimmering in the sk--"
"SHUT UP!" Brownpaw interrupted. He spun around and bared his abnormally long teeth.
Silverpaw was taken aback. "A-are you okay?"
"I'M SICK OF HIDING!" He screeched, drawing the attention of various Clanmates. "I CAN'T LIVE THIS LIFE ANYMORE!"
Silverpaw took a step back uneasily. "Brownpaw, if you have a problem, we can talk about it..."
"I DON'T WANT TO TALK! I WANT TO KILL! KILL YOU ALL!"
Emberstream padded over to the tom. "Wow! That's not good!" She shouted enthusiastically.
Brownpaw let out a screech of rage and lept on top of Emberstream. With one bite, he instantly ripped out her throat.
"Brownpaw!" Silverpaw yowled. "What in the name of StarClan are you doing?"
"I AM A SOLAR PANEL!" Solarwhat'shisface cut in.
"Another thing," Brownpaw seethed, "I'm not Brownpaw. I never was."
The Clan proceeded to gasp simultaneously as Featherfrost sat in the corner slamming her face against her keyboard because she couldn't think of an adequate ending.
