"All cats, gather before the most awesomest cat of awesome that ever awesomed on the face of this planet!" Superstar yowled from where he was hovering twenty feet in the air.
The cats grumbled as they gathered together, unwilling to stop lazing around and doing nothing. Once they had collected at a point almost beneath Superstar, they looked up at him expectantly.
"Today we will name Fastkit, Mintkit, and Plumkit apprentices!" he said grandly, and the three kits squealed in excitement, Mintkit changing colors at a rapid pace.
"They've only been alive for, like, a week," Oaktail pointed out.
"Shut up!" Superstar snapped. "Now before I begi-"
"I'M A SOLAR PANEL!" Solarlight yowled loudly. All the cats turned to stare at him, and he laughed maniacally. "JK, YO MAMA IS A SOLAR PANEL!"
"OOOOOH," the Clan said in unison, acknowledging the epic burn-ness of that supremely epic burn.
"ANYWAYS," Superstar said loudly, regaining the cats' attention, "Fastkit, your mentor will be Quickpaw, seeing as you have the exact same power."
"Uh... Shouldn't I be a warrior first?" Quickpaw asked.
"Do you want an apprentice, or not?"
"I do."
"Great, you're a warrior!" Superstar declared.
"That's not how it works," Oaktail said pointedly. Superstar blatantly ignored him.
"Quickpaw, you're now Quickfoot. Fastkit, you're now Fastpaw." Fastpaw and Quickfoot touched noses at the speed of light.
"Mintkit, your mentor will be Emberstream. You will now be known as Mintpaw." Emberstream and Mintpaw touched noses, Mintpaw jumping back when a spark flew out of her mentor's nose.
"Troutpaw, do you want an apprentice?"
"I do."
"Great! Plumkit, you're now Plumpaw, and Troutstream is your mentor!" The two cats touched noses, already envisioning the fun they could have together with their water powers.
"Okay, everybody can return to doing nothing now! Meeting dismissed!"
Superstar floated back into his cave and the cats wandered off to go back to doing nothing.
