A/N : Yeay, this chapter is finally in Arthit's POV~
****
Ughhh.. that freshman!
Arthit wants to fume. Or better yet, he wants to smash something to pieces, the smaller the pieces after that the better he would feel. He was already cooling off after the debriefing end. But he is not hungry enough (too fed up with his emotion) to eat dinner, so he skip it. He even decided to go back home first. Why oh why he got to see that jerk he got honored to know (please notice the sarcasm) on his way back?!
.
.
.
"Hello, Phi. Finished the meeting?" there's a sudden voice behind him, almost scaring him to death.
"Euy!" he shouts. "Kongphob, 0062!"
But the freshman only smirks lazily. He then proceeds to drove him to the nearest tree, and made him dropping the broomstick leaning on it. the hands of the freshman caging him.
..there's something wrong with this situation. Arthit was sure of it. but he is too busy with this freshman in front of him right now to think about it.
"I'm so glad you could remember my name and student ID, Phi." The freshman drawls.
"Wh- what?" this freshman unnerved him. There's something in the freshman he can't fathom.
The freshman grins. "Maybe next time you will remember something else from me after this? Something more personal. What do you think, Phi?"
"Fool! The hell you talk about anyway?! Move!" Arthit tried to wrenched himself free by ducking but the freshman has none of it.
"Aw, Phi. Why not?" the freshman pouted. Yes. A grown ass man is pouting in front of him. And it suits him.
..wait. what?!
Ugh!
"Let me go." Arthit tried to reign his irritation. He stare at the freshman straight into his eyes.
"Phi, can't we be closer than this?" that's a weird question to ask your senior! That's what Arthit wants to say to him. But he only shut his mouth in anger.
"Kongphob." he warns the younger man. He folds his hands on his chest, eyes screaming murder.
But it seems it doesn't faze the freshman because he only smiles. A few beats later, the younger man yield by raising his hands in the air and backing off a few steps.
"Good night, P' Arthit." The freshman said but Arthit had already hurriedly leave.
.
.
.
Gah! What the hell is his problem?!!!
Arthit doesn't understand. Sure, he is strict to the freshman, and often picks him up. But it's because he always talks back to the senior and questions everything! And he only do that to him! It's irked Arthit to no end.
Arthit sighed heavily. No need to think about that. He should just finish his task right now. And might also do some laundry. It's long overdue. Feeling lighter, Arthit walks to his dorm, cataloging whatever he need to do for tonight.

"Where the hell is Bright right now?!" Arthit wants to yells louder but he tried not to. It's still early, what he mean is, the hazing activity hasn't started yet. He wants to save his voice. But that bastard he calls friend is making things difficult.
"Wait wait. Let me call him." Toota conceded. That jerk already skipped his class this morning. If he even skip this activity.. Arthit might choked him to death.
"Euy, Bright. Where are you?" Toota said after the call connected. He fell silent for a little bit to hear the answer.
"What?! You can't come!?" the loud exclamation was heard by everyone. Prem immediately snatched Toota's phone and put it on his ear.
"Ai' Bright! Don't you dare to- what?" Prem's eyes bulging after hearing Bright's explanation. curious, Arthit lean on to listen in.
"-I can't leave him here alone. I won't be able to concentrate anyway. And it's not like I'm really needed there. Okay, friend?" it's a weird thing to say from Bright. All the seriousness. But Prem seems to understand at least, because he nodded.
"Fine. What about tomorrow? Yeah? alright. I'll tell everyone. May the flowers bloom and eased your burden."
..that's also a weird phrase.
Prem disconnected the call and Arthit immediately asked him about it. "So? Is he coming?"
"No. there's a trouble back home. So he need to take care of it. he can't come tomorrow too." Prem informed him after he shook his head.
"What trouble that he need to take care of anyway? He didn't even come home in the holiday." Toota grumbled because Bright's task become his now. Yeah, Bright never went back and chose to either party here and there over the semester breaks or staying for a few days in whichever friends' house who let him stay over. It must be serious if he decided to go home.
Prem only shrugged. "His brother came after a long time. And it seems he got sick." Was the only explanation they got.
----
He stood still while scanning the freshmen who lowers their head as they sit on the floor of student's hall. He feels like he forgotten something.
"Alright. Remember, tomorrow you have to finish your task. 1,000 signatures!" Arthit reminds them all.
Right. Arthit realized with a jolt. There's no Kongphob among them.
Huh. Is he finally decided that this activity is a waste of his time? Arthit will skin him alive if he ever thinks like that. But because the hero is not here today, the activity went smoothly. So he at least have to be thankful for that one. The debriefing is gone without a hitch too. Arthit prepared to leave with a good mood.
But the good mood doesn't last long.
"Ai' Arthit." Prem approached him with Fan, a 2nd year student in the hazing team.
"What?"
"Phi. I just got news that one of the freshmen can't attend to our meeting for two days. Maybe more." Fan said.
"Huh?" Arthit blinked. Someone asked to be absent to her?
"You know, that Kongphob." She smiled sheepishly. A bit afraid Arthit might lashed to her. "His friend informed me that he had an urgent family business so he had to go back this weekend."
She then gives him a signature book, Kongphob's.
"It's already impressive he got more than 500 signatures within five days." She remarks. Arthit only stares blankly at the book. After that, she excused herself.
"Oy, Arthit. Are you okay? You blanked out." Prem asked him.
"Huh? Yeah, I'm alright." He nodded and jerks his head to ask his friend to go back already.
It's just.. they met yesterday night, but that freshman didn't say anything to him. Arthit gritted his teeth. Why should he concern himself for this freshman especially anyway? He shouldn't have care.
..Arthit wonders then, if Kongphob doesn't need to go, will he actually finish this task to show him that he could do it?
A ghost of smile playing on his lips, thinking about the stubborn freshman.
