Bright's POV

Bright is sneaking, blending himself with his surroundings. Both the Air and Earth Clan has an advantage to this particular skill, albeit with different reason. The more powerful people from Air Clan can distort the air around them, deceiving other people into believing imaginary things they want to project. It consumes a lot of power and drain it as fast, so it can't be hold for a long time. While the Earth Clan, with their plant power in particular, can simply sprouts plantation around them.

Anyway, Bright is having fun right now. You see, for no reason than having a new toy to play around, Bright formed a habit to pinpoint that little Jade he met not long ago. That guy always not too far but also not too close to where P' Kong -and usually also P' Wad- is. He is still true to what he was saying, that he was here to observe.

Well, Bright knew that little Jade was lying. But unless he was that guy's imprint, he won't have any means to know the truth, sans torturing of course. It's still off the menu at any rate.

The little Jade is in front of him, perched on a tall tree that somehow obscuring his position. It's no use for people like Bright, but it's a nice hiding spot he supposed. The green aura is a dead giveaway though, flaring sometimes violently and looks like a neon sign that somebody is trying their damned best to stay put. Isn't that only telling Bright he was readying himself to do a surprise attack? That little liar.

It's a good chance to attack, Bright knows. P' Kong is only a few meters from them, sitting calmly on one of the stone tables the university provided and revising his notes. P' Wad is out of sight, probably buying something with their other friends. Bright remembers his brother telling him about a group discussion after their class was over. P' Kong wouldn't go anywhere else, because this place is also near the library, where Bright's other friends, mainly Ai' Arthit is there to finish their own project. The older man would stay put, and even though he won't lower his guard for a possible attack, this university is also having its own fair share for Itzel's citizens. Unless they reveal their killing intent, P' Kong won't make any unnecessary move.

So it's up to Bright to do damage control, if there was any. The little Jade is certainly an experienced assassin, as he could hide his killing intent so well. Bright is not sure he would able to spot the guy if not for his aura.

There! A poison ivy sprang into life and grown steadily toward P' Kong. Bright's body become taut, and with a swift motion, a wind blade cut the plant, alerting the assailant. Immediately Bright concentrate his power to his hand, project it toward that little jade and make a clawing hand to envelop the air around the guy, efficiently trapping him from moving. Bright jerked his hand so the little Jade fall from the tree and with his other hand, sending his power to the ground below it to cushion the fall.

Bright took a glance to P' Kong, and was glad that his actions seems to be unnoticed by the older man. Sighing in relief, he steadily walked until he stands before his captive. A hand motion to make another pattern later, Bright change his hand to make a cupping motion, ensuring the little jade to make no noise.

"Listen here, you little liar. Come with me in peace or I'll kill you here, the treaty be damned." Bright threatened. The guy widened his eyes, a resignation enveloping. He obediently nodded. "Good."

Absent-minded, Bright sent a quick message to his brother about the situation, and another one to his friends excusing himself not to join them. He knows it's a stupid move later, because as they reached a deserted place when Bright did so, the little jade lunged from behind him, crashing both of them to the wall.
