Arthit doesn't want to go alone for the Moon Star contest today, so he dragged his friends to go with him. They barely got there on time, as the lights already out and the seats are full.

"Sawasdee kha! It's now the time everyone has been waiting for! The competition for the Star and Moon of Freshy Night!!" the MC greets as the spotlights flashed on the stage. She then lets all the stars and moons from each department to come. They then introduced themselves one by one.

The climax of the event is the performance from each department. Arthit got nervous when the time for Kongphob and Praepailin to go to the stage is nearing.

"Oy, Arthit. Why the hell are you tapping your foot like that? It's annoying." Bright, ever the nosy person, asked him.

"Oohh.. it's my business whether I want to tap my foot or not!" he snapped. His friend only shrugged then and watched the performance.

"Okay, it's time for our last show tonight." the MC finally said. "Please give your applauses to the Star and Moon of the engineering department!"

This is it. Kongphob and Prapailin will performs now. But then the lights completely went out, and people gasped loudly. They began to murmuring with each other, and the performance still hasn't started. Arthit began cold sweating.

"Oy, why the hell the performance hasn't started yet?" Toota asked beside him.

"The lights went out like this, surely it'll be tough of them." Knot chimed in.

"Shush!" Bright suddenly ordered them to shut up. A beat after that, a stomping was heard. And then a string of melodies from the guitar resound from the stage. Immediately, one of the spotlight flashed on to the center of the stage, where Kongphob stands and Praepelin sits while playing with the guitar.

Kongphob used his black boots to stomp, matching the beat from the melody of the guitar. On his left hand, a long sword still in its sheath was held. He looks fierce, even though he was only cladded in black tee and dark fatigue pants.

The people cheered. But Kongphob doesn't seem to notice. He stamped his boots while widening his legs, getting into a stance. Immediately, he unsheathed the sword and began swinging, juggling it with one hand. For a split second, the sword in his hands thrust to the air, making a few patterns continuously, and then some people immediately joining him by stomping their feet, following the beat. Some people hoots, and another clapped. On the stage, Kongphob still doesn't seem to care, focusing to twirl the sword and occasionally tapping the sheath to the floor, the noise still matching the beat of the music.

"Fuck me." Arthit can heard Prem said. It distracts him from the sword performance of Kongphob, and he looks at his friend weirdly. But it's not Prem who is weird now, because Bright also immediately clapped to the beat, face showing a delightful expression. Prem too, start to stomp his foot excitedly.

The hall is full of noise, now. It really sounds festive. And on the stage, Kongphob swings his entire body in the air a few times before doing a few steps of complicated footwork, all the while still making a noise with his boots and swinging his sword.

It's looks cool as hell and so hard to do. The fluidity, and the gracefulness, it really looks like he was dancing with the sword and not just doing a swordsmanship.

How beautiful..

Everyone is entranced, too captivated by the performance before them. Arthit is not an exception. The performance end suddenly, as Kongphob sheath his sword back and the music from the guitar stops.
