Euy. Anyway. This is the last chapter of this first arc. Do you have any question that you like to ask? It doesn't have to be about this ff. ( ' ▽ ' )

This is from Maprang's POV.

****

Maprang decided to go outside and cool herself once everyone had their fill playing the card. She does it as the alcohol always left her feeling suffocated after drinking it. She feels how refreshing the air was, a little saltiness from the ocean doesn't deter her to walk closer to where the water wetting the sand. There, she stood watching the calm wave chasing each other, peace seems to still hold in place.

It's for a long time she stood straight, watching the ocean silently. Too mesmerized at what the ocean is telling her, she was caught off guard when suddenly a cold beer was placed onto her back.

"Aw!" she yells in panic, body immediately go into the practice stance, only to be faced with Prae. Her childish imprint cackles almost maniacally in the midst of silence in the middle of the beach, all the while holding two cans of beer in her hands.

"Prae~ not funny!" Maparang pouted, stomping her foot to the sand. She didn't stop pouting until her younger imprint stops her giggles.

"But it was too good! You're so intent watching the ocean you didn't realize I've been calling you from behind!" Prae grins. The statement makes Maprang rolled her eyes. Truly, she should be more alert than this. But as she is only a priestess which always has someone protecting her, she put her guard down. Furthermore, this is her imprint. Of course she will always feel safe with her.

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you go to sleep?"

"Euyy.. I could ask you the same." Prae squinted at her. "I don't know you like the beach. I thought girls like you would like the city better."

"Hm? What makes you say that? And what kind of girl you're thinking I am?" Maprang can't help but raised one of her eyebrows.

"Err.." Prae grins sheepishly and scratch her cheek. "You look like a typical city girl, to be honest. A sheltered city girl."

That's almost feel accurate..

"Well, a city girl can like the ocean too, don't you think?" Maprang turn her face to watch the ocean once again.

"True, true." Pra was quick to acquiescence. "But you're always feel energetic to me. And seeing you could stand still watching the ocean like this seems kind of strange."

You have no idea..

"I always like water." Maprang admitted, showing her true self a little bit to her imprint. "It could tell me many things."

"Yeah? like what?" Prae look honestly curios it makes Maprang smiles patronizingly.

"It teaches me how to be calm. It told me to have patience. The ripples always chasing one to another, reminding me to always have goal to achieve."

"That's.. kinda deep." Prae said, stunned with her words. "Maprang.. who are you really?" she blurted out.

Maprang blinked her eyes, a smile on her face almost threatening to change to laugh. "What the hell, Prae~?"

"Ah ah.. that's.. sorry na. I don't know what's wrong with me. It's must be because of the beers!" the red hues spreading on Prae's face looks lovely. The moon shining her imprint's face brought the inner glow that she possessed. Maprang can't help but fall a little more in love with her imprint.
