A/N : Still in Prem's POV na~ Not much is happening here, as this one is just a.. let's just say it's a preparation and a bridge for the next chapter.^^"

****

Prem is now in Bright's apartment. Well, his and his brother's, but who cares about the detail like that. The exams already done, and the hazer team gathers today for the last-minute preparation meeting, as the hazing at the beach will be held a week from now. That's in the afternoon, food courtesy of Bright, and that's why they'll hold it here. Prem already come because he had a business at the embassy in the morning; he sent his photos he took for his now nine-years old sister.

He is now lounging around on the comfy sofa, head leaning on the seat to wait the time to pass by. On the smaller sofa beside him, Wad is reading an english book which too thick for his liking. He is already dressed up, because he'll make himself scarce while they held the meeting. But in the meantime, they're waiting for Bright to finish dolling himself inside his room.

For Prem, Wad reminds him of the warm breeze that always blowing when he rest under the oak tree not far from the training ground. He always spend his free time there after a gruellsome training. The breeze never failed to calm his mind and body. But he knew, the warm breeze will rapidly turn to a stormy wind as the sky darkened. Nonetheless, he still unsure about how to behave in front of this older man.

"So.. how's your exams, Phi?" Prem awkwardly started the conversation. The older man is still burying his head on the book, and only hummed.

"It's not something I can't manage." He said. "I studied almost the same thing back in the shrine."

Prem saw it with his own eyes then, the mesmerizing phenomenon when the mark on the messenger's head flare up. Wad's mark flare starting from his neck, little by little spreading to half his face. It seems Wad keyed himself with the ward they put around the apartment building, and it announced him whenever another messenger is in vicinity.

"Bright." Wad calls his brother.

"Coming, coming.." Bright hurriedly got out from his room, locking it behind him.

"I'll go first. Don't let your guard down." The older man ordered, eyes narrowing for a possible threat. Bright nodded and in the blink of an eye, the older man teleport outside the building. After that, the both of them went down through the lift.

They met Wad at the lobby, sitting on one of the sofa with unreadable look as he read the letter at hand. Not a threat, then. So Bright saunters to where Wad is sitting and carelessly pluck the letter out of him. The older man spoiled his brother too much, seeing as he didn't protest about it. Sometimes Prem doesn't know whether he feels jealous of Bright or wants to also baby him.

"Huh. Are you going to send a congratulatory gift for him?" Bright asked with a frown toward his brother. Wad shrugged. Prem choose to sit on the sofa in front of them, watching their interaction. It's never bored him seeing the two of them together, because Bright always praise his brother all the time when they met in Kantarot, but Prem never once saw them together before coming to earth.

"He just gave birth. That's the least I can do." Wad answered, looking disinterestedly to the letter.

"Who?" Prem can't help but blurted out. It's a rare occasion for a male to give birth. It is something worth a celebration. That's how hard it is to gain the ability to get pregnant for a male.

"His ex. That man only wants to brag again, I'm sure." Brigth scowled. Prem doesn't understand the animosity, but again, it's not his business to know.

"This news is already few months old." Wad tells them, placing the letter carelessly on top of the coffee table. "This letter went through to Ekala first. But it doesn't matter."

Prem saw how Bright rolled his eyes hard at this news and starts to ready himself to leave. "I guess I have to find the correct gift now." He heard Wad said next.

"Whatever." Bright mumbled disinterestedly. They then go separate ways, Wad to go find the gift, and them buying food for the meeting.

Bright didn't stop grumbling about ungrateful man as they walk, still feeling displeased with the letter. Thankfully, Prem already mastered the art to listen with just one of his ear when Bright start open his mouth to chat incessantly, so he only nods himself to make him appear listening. They just starting to go back with hands full of bags with food inside when they met Arthit.

"Euy. Arthit!" Bright calls the head hazer. But it seems he didn't hear it, too focus walking. Bright then decided to catch him up and clasp his shoulder, which makes Arthit jolt in surprise he unconsciously slaps Bright right on his face.

"Ow! Arthit! How mean!" Bright wailed. Prem who saw this guffawed cheerfully. Serves him right!

"Aw. Bright! Why the hell you surprised me like that?" the head hazer slapped Bright's head again.

"It's because you didn't notice us when we called you!" Bright defends himself as he nursed his head.

"True." Prem chimed as he catch up with them. "You look so serious as you walk. What the hell are you thinking about? you're lucky you didn't hit a lamp post."

Arthit only pouts and turn his head away, not wanting to discuss with them. Prem noticed how his earthian friend look troubled these few days, starting after he asked about high priestess' name.

"Let's just get inside my apartment na.." Bright decided. Maybe he also noticed how dark Arthit's mood today.

----

Throughout the meeting, Arthit's mood didn't improved. He scowled a lot and won't talk too much. His mood seems to be darken once Toota brought out Lord Kongphob's name to the table.

"We can ask him to perform that dance again." He suggested. Many of the team seems inclined to agree.

"No." Arthit's strong objection was heard then. "We should let them make a performance as a whole. Don't just ask one person to represent an entire freshman.

The argument is sound, and Prem agrees more to this idea. Because there's not only the lord who is in the first-year. "We should do that. It's up to them whatever performance they want to do. but please don't let them sing." He grimaced. Not many people had the ability to sing, and he doesn't want to hear any unpleasant sound on that day. They then agreed to do that. After discussing more topic, the meeting was concluded just shy at 5 pm.

"What do you say we go clubbing after this?" Toota, that party animal suggested again.

"Ooohh.. that's a great idea! We can unwind after that stressful exams!" one of the second-year agreed.

"Let's have dinner first, please." Another piped in. Many of them agreed to have dinner first, then met up again in one of the club they frequent. As becoming usual, Bright refused, saying he already has plan. Prem thought that he just wants to have dinner with his brother. Wad is an excellent cook, is what he heard. No way in hell Bright would missed that.

"What about you, Ai' Arthit? Are you coming?" Knot asked the dazed Arthit.

"Hm?"

"Dinner, then club." Prem repeated.

"Oh.. nah. Better go home."

"Arthit. You don't look good these days, are you okay?" Knot seems to be worried about their friend, and Prem must say that he also started to feel the same way. So he tried to test the water.

"Is it about Maprang?"

"Or Kongphob?" Bright decided to join him.

Ohhoo.. if a glare could kill, then the glare that Arthit shot at them would make both of them dead already.

"There's nothing wrong with them. Stay out of my business!" Arthit yells. He grabbed his things and then promptly stormed out. The three of them stared at each other.

"That went well." Bright commented.

A/N : just for clarification. Whatever mpreghere will happen off-screen. And, sorry for saying this my friend, but Arthitwon't be able to get pregnant. As he is an earthian, not a resident from Itzel.
