Arthit POV

****

It was already twilight when Arthit got home. The orange hue decorating the sky, mixing with the dark cloud of night. But it was so far from Arthit's mind, as the man leaned on the door as soon as he closed it. His face is still red from embarrassment, and.. happiness? He feel a little giddy.

Kong asked him for a date.

Arthit closed his eyes and rubbed his face, visibly pulling himself together. But it's no use. He still very much shy even though he is already safe inside his room, away from the flirting gaze of Kong.

His body slid down, Arthit bent his knees as he sits on the floor. He heaved a sigh, an exasperated smile finally grazed his face as the red hues slowly disappearing.

Kong always so extra like this.

.

"Phi." Kong's voice come from behind him who huddled together with his friends, frantically finishing a report.

"Huh?" he looked up and was face-to-face to his favorite pinkmilk first, before he can see the top head of Kong.

"Are you still going to be here for a long time?" Kong asked, offering the pinkmilk to his hand. He nodded wordlessly, sipping his drink. Beside him, Toota nudged him off the seat, signaling him to go far from them who still busy with report and don't want anything to do about lovers' business.

Rude.

"What is it?" Arthit asked once they are far away from his friends.

"Are you busy this week, Phi?" Kong asked with a furrow between his eyebrows. Arthit immedieately heave a sigh and slumped his shoulders.

"Oohh.. we have a practical test this Saturday. And there are reports we have to submit. Still have many things that needed to put into it. I'm swamped!" he complained tiredly.

"I.. see."

"What about it anyway?" Arthit was curious. And he feels bad for Kong, just a little bit. But he can't help it when all the lecturer seems intent to bury them with tasks.

"Then.. are you free on Sunday?" Kong's eyes hold a glimmer of hope.

"Yeah. I'm so glad I still have Sunday. I can relax a little bit" Arthit humphed. He can see there's a slight smile on Kong's face as a response. "Why? Do you want me to help you study again?"

A shy grin blossomed from that smile, making Arthit's heart skipped a beat. "No, khrup." Kong said simply.

"Aw. Then, what is it?" Arthit frowned.

"I'm asking you for a date." That brilliant smile blinding him, Arthit was sure of it. he had to blinked a few times before the meaning of that sentence seeped into his brain and got processed. As soon as he got it, he can feel his face reddening.

"..." Arthit was speechless he lower his head in embarrassment.

"..I can't?" Kong mumbled dejectedly because he didn't answer. He took a peek and saw the infamous puppy look from his junior.

..Arghhh!

"No. I mean- yes. Ugh. Yeah, I can go on Sunday." Arthit finally stuttered his reply. Immediately the downcast look was gone, replaced by a bright smile that makes Arthit's heart thudding madly.
