The afternoon sun was warm on your skin you are currently at the water pond of your house. You've love the water ever since reason having the huge pond in your back yard. China your good friend took the effort to make the pond for you knowing you love the water he has brought lovely stone from china to help you with your pond. He sometimes drop to your place to bring some Chinese tea and Chinese dumplings and sweets. You always find this kind of approach sweet and caring.

But he may not notice your deep adoration to the Chinese man; you love how his hair smells and how it sways in the wind. His skinny yet very built body that gives you the sense of protection. His warm and very soft hands that showed love and care and his amazing voice that provides comfort. You love everything about him, well he was also one of the countries who help you when you are in bad shapes and destroyed situations. ( you are a country by the way). You hmm while as you slowly removed your sandals from your small feet. Letting your feet and bare legs dipped in the water.

The water was calming the lilies that you had which Yao also bought were smoothly gliding from side to side of the pond. You smiled at the memories when he fell down in the water trying to fix those flowers you loved. He always cared and been very kind, you always thought that he will be very good husband and father to kids or children with that though you smiled to yourself.

You were at peace until you heard your sliding door slowly opens only to reveal the Chinese man you were thinking. You smiled warmly at him and noticed that he was pouting and murmuring on his own. This always happen when he got into fight with some of the country, he will pout and talk to you saying everything that happens in the meeting until he came down you will take the time to listen. You always find listening to him relaxing maybe it's because he was cute and adorable when he does it. Seeing every available reactions and faces he makes, makes you smiled and chuckled.

Yao: " and that's what happen _____, they were so cruel on me" he pouted

y/n: " don't worry yao I am sure it's because they like seeing you with different faces" you smiled at him

Yao: " even though I am a strong country and yet they treat me like I am a very old man" he brings his legs close to his face

y/n: " don't worry even though you are an old man I will always like you" you smiled, few seconds passed and you realized what you've said. He was staring at you with curious and blushing face on the other hand your face shows minimum tint of pink.

Yao: " you like me?" he asked louder than a whispher

y/n: " ohhhh, I mean like like like a friend" you smiled countering what you actually is feeling

yao: " ohhh okay" he looks sad hearing those words " I think I will make some tea" he smiled and scurried off to your kitchen

y/n: " okay then"

He proceeds to walk to your kitchen to prepare some tea for the both of you. Meanwhile you were still enjoying the company of the warm water. He looks at you from the kitchen window and admire how calm and relax you look.

Yao was blending the tea when he remembered how you said you like him. He had always adored you at first he thought that the feeling he was feeling towards you is because you two are close friends. But he comes to noticed it was more than that. He got easily jealous when other nations come around you, he got irritated when people touch you especially with boys, and he was especially over protective in your wellbeing. He always thought that he only sees you as a little sister just like Taiwan but in the end he had to admit to himself that he really likes you. He sighs and placed the tea pot on the tray he walks slowly and approaches you.

Noticing the familiar presence you smiled at him and you swear you saw a very minimal reaction of pink to his face. He smiled back and prepared you the tea, you always love his blending and you come to adored how he put so much effort in making those for you.

y/n: " so? What do you want to do now Yao?" you turned to look at him examining his face

yao: " anything you wanted to do?" he smiled

y/n; " nothing in particular" you smiled and returned your eyes to the lilies " Look Yao the lilies you brought he is blooming very beautifully" you smiled as you pointed the flowers

Yao: " yes they do, you know in China girls are sometimes compared to flowers" he smiled starting up a new topic

y/n: " ohh really?" you smiled as you put the cup down showing your interest

Yao: " yes, there are girls who will be compared to rose, blues, and many more" he smiled

y/n: " ohh how that sounds really nice, well if you will compare me to a flower what flower will I be Yao?" you asked curious, taken aback he never though you will asked this questions. He always though you might be a rose a flower with beauty but with brave heart and understanding soul. But in the end he thought lilies fitted you very well. He always thought you have a very kind heart thinking of others first before your own. He also thought that the entire idea of your focus and devotion to things you cared and loved is something unexplainable. He love you, he had love your qualities and he would want to have you for his own.

Yao: he smiled "I can compare you to Lilies" he smiled " the humility of this flower is unexplainable just like how you have the heart for your enemies and the understanding to those who hurt you, lilies also symbolizes devotions, just like how you focus on things you loved and cared your devotion to everything you protect is something I will forever admire" he smiled, you were blushing such words coming from your crush is enough to make you blush.

You smiled at him, realizing how he sees you " Yao? Do you by chance like me" you smiled at him. He was blank for few seconds until a full red blood showed into his face.

Yao: " ohh what? Why? Why are you asking that? He stutter and blushed harder

y/n: " the way you talk about me is something I never saw in other nations, you talk about me like you truly mean it and I am very very happy" you smiled

yao on the other hand sigh and took a deep breathe

yao: " Listen, I've always loved you ever since I started to realized that I am no longer seeing you as a sister but as a lover, I don't know but I love your presence your dignity and the way you comfort me. It seems when I am with you everything will be alright" he smiled

y/n: " yao! I've always felt the same with you" you smiled at him pulling his hand with yours " I've always felt safe and cared enough when I am with you, I am happy that you feel the same way Yao." You smiled

Yao: " thank you so much, and I will always truly love you" he smiled

y/n: " Wo Ai Ni Yao" you smiled more teasing him, he blushed hard

yao:" no fair I was supposed to say it" he pout

y/n: " I love you so much my Chinese panda" you hugged him

Yao: " I love you too my cute adorable princess" he kissed you head
