»» Introducing Yourself
만나서반갑습니다.[man-na-seo-ban-gap-seum-ni-da.] = It's nice to me you!
처음뵙겠습니다.[cheo-eum-boep-gess-seum-ni-da.] = I'm pleased to meet you.
Conversation*
{Jeo-neun} .. Kyung Soo입니다.[Kyung Soo-im-ni-da.] = I am Kyung Soo.
Kyung Soo라고합니다.[kyung soo-ra-go-ham-ni-da.] = I'm called Kyung Soo.# Note that the person ^I^ is omitted as is normally the case in Korean sentenses where the subject is obvious.
# When referring to the person you are addressing, the Korean pronoun for ^you^ is almost never used.
Eg. Are (you) Kyung Soo? = Kyung Soo니?»» Introducing others
Formal~ 제친구Kai입니다.[je-chin-gu-Kai-im-ni-da.] = This is my friend, Kai.
Informal~ Kai이야.[Kai-i-ya.] = This is Kai.### Note that 이분은[i-bun-eun] literally means ^ this distinguished person^ , whereas 이쪽은[i-jjok-eun] literally means ^over there^. U can also introduce someone without saying ^This is^ in casual speed.
