Luna stared up at the huge building in front of her. She had to attend school again today, which meant that she had to wear her wig, even though she was more comfortable in the beanie.

"Luna!" It took merely a second for her to be tackled by the two girls who had called out her name. They had never really been her friends, but seemed to think that they were.

In reality, they knew nothing about her except her name and that she had cancer. As did everyone else in the school, and they treated her as if she was a wilting rose.

Thankfully, for her, the library was always an empty room, and she had gotten permission, from the librarian, to escape in there any time she needed a breather.

Which, right now, sure felt like a good time to do so. But Luna didn't want her first day back to consist of her hiding from everyone.

"Hello, Ayre and Trinity," Luna said, forcing a laugh as she pushed herself away from the two and to her feet.

"We've missed you so much!" Ayre said, Trinity nodding behind her. Luna tilted her head a moment before shaking it, clearing her thoughts.

She looked away from the girls and to the school. "Class is about to start," she told, looking at the girls before beginning to walk to the doorways. Of course, the two followed her.

"I have to get all my assignments turned in, I'll see you two at lunch," Luna said, turning around to see the two girls but they were gone. She let out a sigh of relief, happy that she wouldn't have to act like their friend anymore.

Walking to her locker, Luna took her books out and put them in her, already filled, bag.

She knew that she could be late to class, but she also didn't want to seem like she had any special treatment. Even though, everyone knew she did half of the time, but it still never seemed like it, and Luna was fine with none.

Quickly making up her mind, she made her way to math, her first class. She would have to just suck it up and turn in her work at the appropriate times.
