I groan in frustration at the constant beeping noise. I turn over in my bed and wrap myself inside of a cocoon of sheets. I try to block out the beeping noise, but unfortunately, sheets are not sound proof. Not even close. In my half conscious state, I mumble to myself and try a different method. Covering my ears with both of my hands, I attempt to block out the noise once and for all. But to my dismay, the attempt proved useless. Thanks hands.
A slight movement brought me out of my distressed state of mind and back into reality. I send a lot of chakra to my right hand so that it takes form. Quickly, I pin the figure against the wall and open my eyes, ready to deliver my attack.
I finally come to my senses and realize who my victim is. A half awake Kiba lets out a yawn, dog-like canines glinting in this weird bright light. I currently have pinned one arm of his own across his body against the wall. His eyes are barely open and his hair is really messy. His free hand rubs his eyes.
I look around at my surroundings and my being fills with distain. I'm in a hospital. Anywhere, anywhere else. No, but it has to be a hospital. Clean, sanitized walls, covering up the sicknesses, diseases, and deaths that have happened here. A scowl covers my face.
"Hey, you know, being pinned against a wall isn't my favorite way to wake up." Kiba mumbles, opening his eyes and examining the situation.
"What on earth are you doing here, mutt?" I growl, my voice dripping with venom. "And of all possible places, a freaking HOSPITAL?"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Take it easy now. How am I supposed to know you hate hospitals?" Kiba starts to laugh, his nervousness showing through. "And don't you remember? Sasuke cut you with a kunai and you started to bleed a lot, so I decided to get help."
"I actually don't.. but thanks I guess." I watch him sweatdrop. "And hospitals.."
"Huh?" He stares at me, watching as some kind of emotion flows through me.
The nostalgia hits me hard. "It's.. It's nothing." I reply coldly, stopping the chakra flow to my hand and letting go of Kiba.
I examine the room, trying to find things I'm going to need. First things first: time. My green eyes scan the room, and luckily there is a clock on the wall across from the bed. I walk over and peer upwards: it's 5:30 am. So I need to shower, get ready, and leave by 6:30 am. Second: shower. Sadly for that, I'll need to go home.
"This has been lovely and all," I snort sarcastically. "but I'm afraid I'll be needing to go home now."
Kiba looks stunned, and his eyes fill with confusion. He walks towards me and lifts my chin up. My eyes fill with shock as I ready myself to punch him in the gut, but he just stares at my throat.
"How did it heal so fast?" He mumbles out, scratching the back of his head.
"Eh." I roll my eyes. "I heal overnight quite easily. Now if you excuse me."
I turn on my heels and rush for the window. I easily yank it up and leap out of the window, landing softly on my hands and tops of my feet. Standing up, I sense a chakra approaching from above: Kiba. I quickly move, letting him land.
"You should really wait before you jump out of windows." Kiba stands up and stretches.
"I don't see where you're getting at. We're going separate ways." I head towards my house, and to my aggrivation, the hound follows.
"I'm trying to be good and follow goddesses." He replies cheekily, resulting in my newest facepalm.
"Fine, but I don't allow mutts in my living room."
I realize that I'm already standing on my porch. I stride forward and unlock the door with a jutsu, allowing myself in. Of course, to be completely ironic, a few of my wolves are sprawled across the couch inside of my living room. Kiba smirks and walks inside after me, laughing at my expression.
