-Chapter Fifty one-
Leave, she wants to leave. It's like she loves pushing me away. I want to help her, I want to not let her feel alone. To be able to hold a child that I can hold mine in my arms. Why can't she see that?
"Luke?" I snap out of my trance, but I don't say anything. I just look at her lost for words. It's like she's telling me, begging me to say something, but I sit there emotionless.
"You're not gonna say anything?" She asks and I still don't move, no answer. I couldn't because I felt like I would say the wrong thing. I felt like my words wouldn't be good enough to make her want to stay.
"Okay." She said getting up, I grabbed her hand and stood up, I just kissed her. Luckily she didn't push away. "Stay" I breath out.
MICHAEL POV
There was a lot of talking in the bathroom, Caitlin and luke were kissing and that's when I saw something drop from her hand. They didn't bother with it so it must not be that important.
I got a closer look, it was a plus sign on the stick. Is she pregnant? What.
"Oh hi, Michael." Caitlin smiled and I shook my head in disbelief, her face dropped.
"Don't think any different of me please." She begged.
"Caitlin it would be best if you go, you have a lot to figure out and so does luke. Just a little time apart?"
"let her stay just for the day," Luke said and I sighed and nodded.
LUKE POV
I gave Caitlin a kiss on the check and walked to the ring store. I open the door and a man smiled up at me. "Hello sir," I said a quiet hello and walked over to the rings.
"Who's the special lady?" He smiles, "Caitlin, we've had a rough patch but we've made it so far. She's special" I tell the man and he grips my shoulder and pats it.
"So what can I do for you, any kind in mind?" He asked.
"Elegant but simple." I tell him and he nods, he pulls out one with a silver band, diamond heart-shaped ring. I nodded that's like her in so many ways.
"That will be 13,000." I pull out my credit card handing it to me, "have a good day sir", he has no clue how good of a day it's going to be.
