Part 25 - Louis' Secret

“Elena-.. argh!! It’s-.. it’s okay..”

His face turns very pale. Liam’s moans make Elena even more panic. “Wait here. I have to get some help.”

“No!! Elena please-.. aargh!!” He stops Elena by grabbing her hand immediately. “Don’t-.. tell anyone please..” He moans in pain.

“But…” Elena gets really panic and quickly thinks. What should she do? “Okay you-.. you get to lie on the bed first.”

Liam obeys and lies on Elena’s bed and makes himself comfort. But the pain is like really killing him inside. He can’t stop moaning.

“Oh, my Lord! Oh, my Lord! What should I do-.. oh!” Finally she gets an idea.

“It’s-… aaargh!”

“Liam, don’t say anything!” She said as she’s about to call the hotel service with the telephone. “Hello?”

Elena talks to the hotel service. “Can you bring a cup of hot water and pure sugar to this room, please? … Yea. And a teaspoon, please? …. Yea. Just do it quickly! … okay thank you.”

She hangs down the telephone and looks at Liam’s condition immediately. “Liam, can you tell me what do you feel?”

Liam still moans, surviving from his disease but he tries to answer Elena’s question. “My kidney-…”

Elena gets surprised. It’s about a body organ. Liam has a body organ disease. Oh, God!

[bell rings]

Elena rushes to the door and opens it quickly. She receives the orders by herself and says, “thank you so much!” So the guy left.

She carries the tray and puts it down on the night table. Now all that she needs are already here. Then she rushes to her suitcase to get green tea ingredients.

She makes a green tea with her own ingredients with the pure sugar so it doesn’t affect any bad things to body. She asks Liam to sit up slowly and then she hands the green tea to him.

“Here, drink this. You’ll get better, I hope.”

He receives the green tea and sniffs the aroma of the green tea. Suddenly his brain feels very calm. He feels like he ever smells the aroma like that before. But he doesn’t remember. Then he takes a sip. Wow, only one sip can make his body feel so much better.

“I guess, I’ve tasted this green tea-.. this is a green tea, right?”

“yes.”

“Yea. I guess I’ve drank this green tea before. Your green tea reminds me of… someone.” He said, with an unsure feeling.

“Really?”

“Yeah. Did you bring the ingredients everywhere? I feel so much better now. This is fantastic!” He said cheerfully.

Elena feels better too that her green tea could make Liam feel better. She smiles at him. “Yes. I always bring the ingredients every where. Just in case I need them.”

“you’re very clever. Where did you get those?” He asked, still wondering.

“I made them by myself. My big sister taught me.”

“You have a big sister!?” Liam gets very surprised, he’s still holding the green tea, feels the warmness of the tea.

“Uhh… yes.”

“We didn’t know anything about that.” He takes a sip again on his green tea, still with a surprised face.

“Yeah. We both were found in front of the orphanage. We’re kind of like, had a same fate. She’s already adopted 7 years earlier than me. That’s the last time we met. We never connect each other since then.” Elena sighs. “She’s the only family member that I had.”
