Part 28 - Elena

“Come on, Zayn. I can see that you both are an item from the first day.”

Zayn gets silent. He doesn’t look at me.

“When you didn’t receive your meal, she cried.”

“What?!” He’s shocked very much that he turns at me automatically with his shocked face.

“I know you did that on purpose.” I said, guessing.

“It just hurts to me to see that she could be very happy without me.” He said sadly with his one and only accent. “You know I can’t hide it.” He looks down.

I look at him sadly. How many times he gets troubled at getting girls like this? I hold his shoulder to calm him down. I know this doesn’t work. But at least I tried.

“But you have to think about Elena’s feeling too, Zayn.”

“I know. It actually kills me inside when I have to fight what I’m feeling in front of her.” He said as he stroked his hair from the back of his head. He definitely looks depressed.

“Then… until when you have to act rude to her?” I asked from the bottom of my heart.

“I… I don’t know…” He said, unsurely.

[Let’s go to Elena’s POV]

I wake up slowly as I realize I’m sleeping on my bed. Last time I remember, Liam hugged me. Well he’s very kind.

It’s 2 hours left since I slept. I try to sit up because I feel like my body’s heavy. I look at the night table. I’m surprised as I don’t see the sandwich on the tray. Only the orange juice. I guess maybe Liam took it.

I get up of my bed and decide to take a shower. Then after that, I look up for some clothes. I open the wardrobe, all that I see is my new clothes that lads just bought me. I feel like it’s going too fast that finally I can wear clothes that are mine. Then I choose one of them.

After throw on my clothes, I untie my hair and let it fall down. This outfit maybe the most beautiful outfit that I’ve ever put on. I smile at myself in the mirror.

Suddenly the bell rings. I turn around and walk up to the door, then I open it.

“Hi, Harry!” I smiled cheerfully at him

“Hi! You look very fresh.” He said as he’s staring me down.

I chuckle. “Yeah. I just prepared myself.”

“Good. I’m just about to ask you out.” He said, a bit flirty.

“Really?”

“Yeah. Come on!” He happily grabs my hand immediately without waiting for me to say anymore words. He’s very sweet.

“Where are we?” I hear some cheering voices of kids. I can’t see them. Harry said that I have to close my eyes.

“You’ll know. Don’t open your eyes until I command.”

I giggle. “Well okay.”

He holds my hand and takes me gently to follow his steps.

“Slow down, slow… now. Open your eyes.” He finally commands.

I open my eyes slowly and automatically get very impressed as I see a big carnival!

“Oh, God!” I still look around with my wide eyes and surprised face. “Harry! Come on!!”

I take his hand immediately to go inside the carnival. Oh, my Lord! I really love carnival. Where all the happy people belong here. All the things are very stunning. The games, the rides, kids are running around happily holding their cotton candies.
