Everyone rushed to the noise Ruby included.
"Ruby, come hurry!" cried Blacker and Baker. They arrived, Baker pushed through the crowd and everyone parted to lead him to LB's room. Blacker and Ruby followed in urgency.
They entered and Ruby nearly cried at the sight. There lay LB covered in blood, covered in strangle marks, a rope on the floor. Suddenly, Bradley bolted to her and picked her off the floor, as he picked her up memories started shooting to him.
Him giving her the engagement ring.
Them fighting along side each other.
Them in Australia.
Her jumping to rescue him from the tides.
Him saving her from the the ice.
He looked at her, her breath shallow and raspy. A tear fell from his eye.
She opened her eyes.
"Bradley..."
"Get the doctors and paramedics!" he shouted and ran with her in his arms. He kept shouting and instantly doctors came and put her on a stretcher.
"You won't be needed Baker." assured one of them as he directed the doctors.
"No, I will come." with that he followed the doctors- who didn't stop him.
And Bradley stayed along side Loveday just as he had promised all those years ago.
To stay with her for his whole life.
