In the next week Ruby and LB had recovered and had returned to their normal jobs.
"Redfort!" Shouted a gravely voice.
"Sit and stop fidgeting, sit on your hands if you need to." Complained LB. "So far we know that there is a mole in Spectrum." she looked at each of the member in the room:
Hitch
Kekoa
Agent Delaware
Blacker
Baker
And Ruby.
She looked at Ruby,
"Agent Redfort here, will show you what we have narrowed down so far." Ruby got up and went to the board (which she only used once since she joined Spectrum).
"So," started Ruby, "We know that there is definitely a mole in Spectrum, the second one so far." Ruby started drawing a spider diagram on the board.
"We also know that the Count is under her power, as he said so to me a few weeks back." Here Blacker interrupted.
"We also know that they have to be in Spectrum 8 because of the two incidents so far. They have all been done to people who are important to Spectrum 8. Knowing a lot about them would mean they are in Spectrum 8." The group carried on making notes and discussing, while something lurked in the white-washed room. Ready to pounce on its prey.
"I missed you two times Redfort,, but this is the last..." It leapt and threw a blade, aiming for his mark...
