"I'm home" I said as I entered the house.
"You are late!" My mom shouted which was actually contrasting reply to what I just said.
"Yeah! I am pretty late. You know the movie was long than usual and I was so tired to walk back home fast." I replied as I dropped my backpack from last two days.
My mom somewhat squinted her face."Dear you are home early." My dad said as he came near and hugged me.
I love my dad. He used to tell me stories of him being a young man, always up to something and always found partying.
He has always been so cool and confident and yes, he never stops me from doing anything.
Where else my mom, she is a control freak. Sometimes I wonder how my dad fell in love with my mom.
I don't mean she is bad. It is just that they are so contrasting.
My dad is fun and fierce and my mom is calm and so into rules.
Something like fire and ice.
Yet they are so good together.
I wonder how did they manage so far?
What kind of daughter I am thinking about this sort of stuff? My dad explained mom and calmed her down. You know he is an expert at this.
My mom went inside and he turned to me and smiled and asked "Looks like you enjoyed a lot today. I guess you should go and sleep or dream maybe."
I replayed all the fun I had and smiled at him. He smiled back gleefully as he knew what my mind was thinking.
I hugged him and went up to my room.
The room was unusually clean and sorted. Ugh! Mom.
I wanted to go down and yell, but at that time I was so happy and peaceful that I didn't want to ruin the night.
As if I was under any spell.
I carefully changed Jess's super expensive top and wore my super cheap clothes and went to bed.
I hugged my pillow tight like always and replayed every second of that night.
I was somewhat satisfied.
Next morning I was woken up by my new alarm clock.
You know, that this alarm clock is so harsh and strict that it wakes me up at an instant.
My mom's yell.
I had no other option left.
I rinsed and went to the breakfast table and munched down everything I could before the doorbell rang.
No wonder who it could be.
I ran through the lobby and hustled to open the door before my brother.
I managed to open the door and disappointment struck me.
It wasn't Lucas. It was someone who I don't know neither I am interested.
I informed my parents, picked up my bag and left.
As I was walking my way down, I tried to cool my uneasiness.
Why this guy thing have to be so complicated?
"Good morning" A sweet voice from behind took me out of my thought at an instant.
I looked back and it was Lucas.Sweet.
I wished him back and he asked me "You didn't sleep properly? Right?"
"Umm no. But how do you know?" I asked.
"The same thing happened to me also. You know I was replaying everything in my mind and yes it couldn't let me sleep." He explained as he brushed his hairs.
"You know I also did the same thing. But more in a girly way" I said and we laughed.
"But girl, I have to say you got a lot of power in your tiny hands." He said as he eyed my hand.
"Why would you say that? I could barely move anything with these hands. Exception of slapping anyone hard." I replied.
"And squeeze someone's hand so tight that you could see visible marks" he showed those handprints from the night before and I started laughing.
All the memory of last night came in front of me. Like everything.
I couldn't resist myself laughing and that is how I was in the whole way to school. Laughing like a maniac.
We both reached school and we were welcomed by Jeremy and Jessica.
They are always early to school. How?
So now I was walking with everyone, when Leah crossed my way.
And not to my surprise she spilled some sort of sauce on me.
Yikes! I was like why?
"Are you out of your mind?" I shouted on her.
"Basically you should be out of my way." She replied.
"I don't get you. Why would you do that! What have I done?" I asked again.
"You know what you have done. Let me tell you what your problem is." She started saying and I cut her off "You know what, I am not interested in knowing what my problem is. Keep it to yourself." I replied and went to the other side with Jess and we walked away.
Lucas was standing there, scolding Leah for whatever she did right now.
I couldn't hear it clearly but I'm sure she must get a good scold from him.I was really pissed off at her. You know she can hit me or push me or whatever, but instead she is always there spoiling my best clothes.
Does she has any obsession with spilling things on me.
Well anger was raging through me and yes, I need to step up my game.
All I need is a perfect plan or a perfect prank.
I need my girls for that.
They are the best persons to discuss something like that.
*************
It was recess and we all sat down in table at the corner and yes near the dustbin.
Not because we love it or so on but we need to make a plan and aren't plans something secretive?
We huddled up and sat as close as possible.
At that moment I realised two things
First, these girls are the best people I have ever met.
Second, Cass really needs to change her perfume.I told them why I kept this urgent and typical meeting and not to my surprise, everyone's reaction were different.
Cass was really excited and was murmuring all kinds of pranks we could do.
Jess was calm but cautious.
Christi was superbly scared and was the only person to disagree.
So, some moments later our plan was ready. And I'm damn sure that after this she will never do anything.
She likes spilling things on people outfit huh? Now, its the showtime or Leah's literal bad time.
Nobody could stop me. No one. The water is already above the line.
After such a long time I feel that fierceness again.
It's like being myself again. Oh! I missed that part for a long time.
