Ice And Fire

The day when, it's only us.

So here it is.
Tommorow is our prom and the awesome and blissful day, me and Luc got together.

The day Ice and Fire met.

The day we both came together to create this fantastic story.

I remember being so anxious the day before I decided to ask him out. Thinking various ways of confessing to him and Jess being there with me.
Blushing without any reason, while thinking of the possible future with him.

Oh my God! It's been a good time since then.

Today in the morning Lucas picked me up for a date.

Very unexpected yet expected date.

"Tommorow you'll be very busy. I'm damn sure for that. So I've decided to make this day awesome and bombastic for you and me. I know tomorrow will be awesome too but you know we don't have much time. So our celebration period starts from today. No phone calls and no outsiders. Just you and me and fun left in this world." He said while driving.

I made some necessary phone calls to Dad mom, Jess and Jake.

Now I know, there is going to be no disturbance.

"Well I guess now nobody will call us. Until something important happens." I sighed.

Just the moment I said this, my phone beeped.
It was Jeremy calling.

"Uh..I don't know what important happened now." He said looking at me.

"Why on earth he is calling me. He never calls me. In years him number has been just pass down contact." I complained.

"You'll never know until actually you pick up the call." He replied as he pulled through the McDonald's drive thru.

I picked the the call just in time and said

"Hey Jeremy! How did you find my number in your contact list after all these years?" I sarcastically asked him.

"Uh just.. It is that... Umm.. I just wanted to know.. You know.. Uh.. Where..." he said as he continuously stumbled with his words.

He sounded worried and anxious for sure.
He is one of the most confident person I've ever met.
Words out of his mouth come out fluently as if it's butter on a pancakes

"you want ask where is Jess?"I completed his sentence.

"Yes where is Jessica? Why is her phone switched off? I'm very worr..umm I mean much waiting for her to return my stuff she borrowed." he replied as he tried to replace his words.

"What stuff you're talking about?" I asked him as I saw Lucas whispering me, about what happened. I signalled him to wait and he started driving again as he received the food he ordered.

"Just some stuff. You know, casual things. Just tell me where is she. I'll look to the rest." He replied completely ignoring my question.

"Is it about the red shirt you gave her years ago? Because that is the only thing she borrowed from you. Wait are there more shirts? Because I've not seen a single one since then. You guys are really good." I replied.

I could listen him mumbling to himself and regretting already for calling me.

"I guess I should have never called you." He replied in a total annoyed tone.

"In the park behind behind the cafe." I told him.

"oh okay" He replied and hung up.

"What is it about?"

Lucas asked me as steered through the road, leaving the trees far behind.

"Jessica." I replied.
"Jess? Explains why he had been behaving differently." He replied.
