"Isn't it crazy how four years ago, right at this moment I asked you out." I spoke softly as I was leaning on the wall.
"The four years I spent with you have been even more crazier." Lucas confessed.
"And everything further will be at its craziest." I added.Next, we shared a kiss and started to go to school for the prom party.
Jess and Jeremy were almost there and Lucas, being typical punctual creature he is, doesn't want to be late in any way.
This time Lucas took the drivers seat and drove quite fast and honestly I loved this speed.
I turned on the stereo, played Kiwi and we were singing it on the top of our lungs.
I wanted to roll down the windows but my hairs were properly set and I of course didn't want to ruin it.
We reached the parking and I did my last touch-up and by then Lucas was out of the car and he opened the door.
"Ooo" I said and smiling and I got out of the car.
No I didn't forget to add a little style in it, after all everyone was watching.
I slid my right leg out and slowly came out of the car.
"Ooo" now it was Lucas who said this. I blushed again and we walked towards the entry.
No, we maintained some distance and didn't hold hands because everybody still thinks we are another case of 'just best friends who are single and not anywhere near dating anybody.'
We stood in front of the entry and I could see luc being happy about that we reached first.
It's cute to see him celebrating little victories on his own. That's when Arthur and his girlfriend Carla approached us.
"You two best friends are always together.. Even on prom night, you could have bought dates? I know Lucas isn't into dating since Leah, but you riles?" he asked us."Yeah riles, I mean ever since you joined in here, you never like dated anyone around." Carla asked me.
This time I wasn't scared to answer or anything. I've been doing this a long time now.
"Carla, I've dated a few guys back in years it's just that nobody matched my standards. Didn't you hear about the last guy I dated, we were in a long distance thingy. He cheated on me. I've been so heart broken since then. But anyways I got my best friend." I replied back to Carla, very casually with a lot of hand moments going around.
Then I tucked my hands into Lucas arm and smiled at them gleefully and jokingly.
They believed me, and I know that."It's good to have a date who knows you loves you rather than some random person for a night. I guess I'll get to kiss her later in night." Lucas added and then winked at the last sentence.
Now they totally believe us.
"Good for both of you. By the way you should consider dating each other. You guys look good together. " Arthur suggested us.
Then we did the classic 'No never. Not in my dreams.' stare and they laughed hard.
We have such accurate syncing and understanding that make me wonder, whether we have known each other from our past lives?
We said our goodbyes and we saw Jess and Jeremy approaching.
Me and Jess hugged each other. The boys hugged as well.
Jess was looking really happy and there was something special about Jeremy too.
I mouthed 'you guys look beautiful together.' to Jess and she blushed. We exchanged a few words of jokes and sarcastic comments and together we went inside to join everyone.
