Not So Perfect Plan

Next morning, I woke up with this new energy and a feeling of fullness hugged me tight.

Maybe today's plan may land me to detention but still there is no fear for that.

Detention. They are my best time pass by the way. Its like a day dreaming hour. I think about situations and stuff and make up stuff and you know stuff.

Imagine things and go to places in my own fantasy. Isn't it amazing?

That stuff can go on forever, but first I really need to focus on my plan.

Cass came to pick me up, despite being a seriously lazy person.
She was way more excited than I was.

She was all ready with plans and materials and she just needed one yes from me to start the show.

We reached at school and Jess and Christina were already waiting, along with Ray.

Ray was looking usually smart and yes handsome.

I went to them and Jess stared at me with frustration. Christina looked sad and quite.

Jess looked really pissed off.

I cannot see her like this anymore, so I pulled her to the corner and asked her "What happened? You. You really look frustrated. And Christina, she was really sad. Did anything happened."

She looked away for a minute and then said "You know what, do whatever you want."

She said and went away.

I stood there alone and chills passed through my body.

I wanted to cry but that is not me. Never. So I ran to Ray and asked him about what actually happened.

"Umm..." He hummed for a while.

"You telling me or not." I confronted him and pushed him lightly.

"Okay, see Christi told me about your plan to take revenge from Leah. Basically I was amused and enjoying it. She told me not to tell any one, but you know my stupid mouth never shuts up." He started to confess. " I told about it to Lucas and he was really angry about it. You know he loves rules. And then." He stopped.

"Then what? What happened then?" I shouted.

"Then he stormed off to Jess and shouted on her badly. He scolded her terribly. He also said her to stay away from you." He replied.

"Stop. Enough. Where is he?" I asked.

"In cafeteria I guess." He told me.

I ran to the cafeteria when Cass bumped into me.
She was about to say something, but I ignored her.

I pushed the doors of the cafeteria and what I saw was actually heart breaking.

Leah was sitting with Lucas. Hand in hand.

Do you realise they both were sitting with his hand in her hand.
It was just yesterday night when I was dreaming about him and today I am seeing her sitting with my arch nemesis.

He glanced at me and my eyes were filled with tears.

I ran away and he wasn't coming behind me.

No, I will not cry. I calmed my nerves down. My heart was pounding as if I was to die, if anyone says a word to me. It was enough to break me.

I saw Jess standing near her locker, so I went to her and said "Sorry Jess, I didn't knew about all this. I know Ray messed this up."

"Ray didn't mess a thing. You did!" She shouted on me badly.

She even did not bother to look at me and stormed off.

I was so hopeless.

Despair was hugging me right now and I felt like bad luck kicked off my good luck today.

I went to the restroom, to find Cass draining all those dirty liquids, that we decided to throw on Leah.

She looked at me and forced a smile on her face.

I went near her and tried talking to her "I don't know what happened. Lucas shouldn't have scolded Jess!"

"Or you shouldn't have said that bad about Jess." She said and went off.

It was a sad feeling.

Later, I went into the cafeteria and went to Jess and girls.

I was surprised to see my seat was taken by Leah.

Why and how. Why would Jess do that thing to me. Just one little fight and it's all over?

I sat on the table at the corner where the day before we were sitting so close and laughing.

There was something wrong. Leah sitting with Lucas and Jess being weird and Cass telling me that I shouldn't have said that.
I need to know what is wrong.

Leah must have used her stupid brain to make me feel distant from them.

There is something I'm missing out. That day I saw their picture, in which they looked so happy and good.

Today, I saw was concern for him. Her eyes showed that everything was fake.

What I am leaving here.

As I was floating through my thoughts, I saw Leah leaving the cafeteria. I decided to follow her.

Where can she go?

To meet someone or plot an evil plan to get me out of my group.

Well that suspense did not last long. She went inside the restroom. Shit like her belongs there.

After all her dorky face needs to be polished.

I put on my dorky glasses and covered my face with handkerchief , pretending to cough badly.

Yes, I do wear glasses only when cute boys aren't around.

Like always she squinted her face and ignored me.

I quietly went inside one of the stalls from where I could hear them properly.

She was putting up her eyeliner. Perfect winged eyeliner. From where did she got that talent!

Control. I am here for a reason. I'm here for a mission.

I opened the door a little bit so that I could see them and of course listen.

Leah said laughing "This is the best day of my life. Poor.. What her name is?"

"Riley." One of the girls said.

"Ya whatever. She was trying to prank me but instead I trapped her. What she thinks of herself? After all I know Lucas better than she knows. " She said as she put on another layer of eyeliner.

"After all you were his girlfriend. Who can know him better than you?" Another girl said as she cleared her face from a heavy layer of makeup to put up a new layer.

What! What did she just said? Girlfriend. Leah is Lucas's ex!

Disgusting.
I felt like puking and this sudden revelation hit me so hard.
It was like several people are punching me on my stomach.

Now, it is more than just Leah and gaining my friends back.

Country boy, we got a lot to talk about.

She started speaking more so I ignored my thoughts.

"My plan was fantastic!" Leah said.

"But what did you do? I was in extra chemistry class. I don't have any idea!" The another girl spoke in her squeaky voice.

"Look.." And she started speaking.
