Sleepover and midnight truths

It has been twenty days since my not so called date.

Since then, nothing special happened. My mornings were charmed by Lucas picking me up and afternoons were spent with my newly formed gang and evenings went by hanging out and nights were fulfilled by my family.
Pretty much of a average life. Isn't it?

That time, I was busy working up for my chemistry project and Lucas, was out to meet his grandparents in Florida.

I was missing him terribly and the sad thing about it was, that he was out for five days.

Five days! How can I survive alone on this planet. It is like eating Noddles without sauce and pizza without cheese.

I missed hearing him and going out with him. Everything about him is so special.

I never thought that anybody would be so important to me. I even tried to distract myself by doing some boring shopping with Jess, but my silly shitty mind just kept me reminding of him.

A thought struck me, will I be ever able to live without that guy? I mean, its been just twenty plus days since I know him and I have become a Lucasholic.

Actually, I would be never able to live without talking to him.
Stupid me. Obsession was making its home at every corner of my body. I am so fond of him.

It was Friday night and Jessica decided for a two nights together sleepover.
Something new!

We gotta stay from Friday evening to Sunday morning at Jessica's home.

Thou I have been away from them for this long but it is going to be fun.

No harm in trying, plus I need a distraction.
Her home was the best spot for parties or sleepovers. Her parents were mostly out for meetings and business tours so she was mostly alone at home but luckily surrounded by us.

We never let her stay alone. Why should she stay lonely, when I can disturb her every time.

I went to her home at little bit earlier to disturb, hoping for a two day of distraction.

She welcomed me like always, with a tight hug and we went to her room.

As we reached up at her glorious room, she said "Duh! I left the eatables in kitchen. Wait let me grab it. After all it is going to be a long night"

She went back to kitchen to bring whatever necessary and I pulled out my makeover accessories.

I was confused why did Jess said that it is going to be a long night.

Leave it. I threw that thought and started thinking about Lucas.

I was so lost in my dreams of Lucas that I didn't realise that I almost spilled nail polish on my sleeping clothes.

Jess came in and asked me "Lost anywhere? Let me guess?" she said as she scratched her chin and suddenly shouted "Are you thinking about Lucas?"

"Nah!" I replied and looked away.
"No, you are saying lie. From past some days I have been noticing you! You find ways to talk to him, or keep talking about him. Tell me, anything between you both? Please say yes!!" She questioned me in a single breath, becoming restless with each word.

"Nothing like that." I replied and sat down at the floor and relaxed my spine as I leaned on the bed.

She sat down with me, held my hand and asked timidly "Then what is you going on? Since he went to his Grandparents, you have been lost and it seems like you have been trying to distract yourself. Tell me whatever lays beneath your heart." and she placed her another hand on her chest just near her heart.
