As the sun bleeds into night
An owl calls it's warning
Wolves cry to the moon
Stars sparkle with mischief
As the world fades to black
Life unknown to light
Takes it's rightful place
Crickets sing and dance
The bats continue their work
Things seen by blinded eyes
Laugh at false knowledge
Twisted in human minds
As the moon reigns
The night comes alive
Things stranger than fiction
Are finally disclosed
Creatures come out to play
Birds fly to safety
Raccoons steal their share
Fireflies light up the night
They listen to music
And start up a dance;
