Kumbaga sa DOTA, stunned ako.
Hindi pa rin sya umaalis sa pagkakasalumbaba nya sa harapan ko. Talagang hinihintay nya akong pumirma.

Pinirmahan ko na muna yung libro nyang hawak at hiningi nyang isa pa.

"Thank yo—"

Iiwasan ko nalang sana pero his eyes were specific to what his ears want to hear.

"Ano ka ba, hindi naman na kailangan ganito kaformal.."
I let out a chuckle.

"Pero sige, you have my word. Next week, 6 pm. Other details may be discussed further. Not here, sir. " I signed the bottom of the sheet and smirked at him. I know how cringing my smirk can be. Baka hindi na ako siputin nito.

"Thank you, sorry ulit "and I went off already. There were still people in line waiting to get the chance to meet her like I did.

I got off the stage and looked at her one last time.

And she looked at my way too.

"Oh ano 'nak kumusta?" Sabi ni Mama.

Dumating ako sa living room with all of them on the couch. Even my little brother Riley and Angelo.

Nag mano naman ako kay Mama at Papa.

"Okay na, Ma. Punayag sya. " and we all smiled in relief.

"Mabuti. Ang Mama mo naghanda na. Di mo pa ba sya nadala?" Sabi ni Papa. Mabuti at hindi na sya galit. Halos ilang araw din nya akong di gaano pinapansin.

"Bat ka naghanda, Ma?" Tanong ko. Wala naman kasi sa usapan. Tinulungan lang nila ko dun sa letter pero wala sa usapan na dadalin ko sya  dito sa San Juan.

"Ah eh 'nak kaunti lang naman yan. Akala ko kasi madadala mo na sya dito sa atin. Kaunti lang naman ang isinobra ko. Edi we'll celebrate as a family nalang. " sabi ni Mama na napakamot pa ng ulo. Excited naman nitong mga 'to.

"Pa'no nya dadalin dito eh magreply nga hindi lang isang linggo inabot hahahah"
sabi ni Kuya Prince.

Mga isang buwan siguro kung sakaling yayain ko sya dito sa bahay. Tigas nung babaeng yun. Kahit kanina sinesegway pa yung letter ng harap harapan. Pero Abi Uy raised no quitter. Ang layo ng house namin to that mall and I woke up early, bought two books knowing that I don't read much tapos uuwi ako nang nasegway?

Naghain na rin si Mom and we sat altogether around the table.

It was obvious that they were waiting for me to tell the entire story in detail with reaction and reflection. So I broke the waiting game.
