I woke up from a nap from a man's shoulder. I was awake but still had my eyes closed and remembered I was riding an Uber with Ricci Rivero. HELLO?????!??!? Pero
ni hindi ako nakaramdam ng hiya. I was so tired of crying. Kagabi pa.

I wiped my mouth a little. Kakahiya baka may sabit.

"Good morning, Zaun-zaun!" Bati nya sakin nung mapansin nyang umangat na ako sa balikat nya.

"Hello, Ricci. Dami mo namang tawag sakin. " natatawa kong tanong sakanya.

"Wait 'til I call you 'baby'" i heard it right. Syempre bingi bingihan.

"Anong sabi mo?" Sabi ko ng hindi ko mapigilan yung ngiti ko sa narinig ko.

"Wala wag na di ka nakikinig. " pag tatampo nya and crossed his arms.

If you only knew Ricci. I would even put that as my alarm tone if I had a chance so I'd wake up with that cockiness.

"Hahaha! Joke lang hindi na..." and I grabbed his toned arm to untangle it from the cross.

Napatingij naman sya sa paghawak ko kaya binitawan ko ito.

"San ka ba talaga pupunta? Samahan na kita. What happened ba?" He asked worriedly

"Mall. I don't have a specific agenda. I just want to stay out of our house." I told him looking down. He might think of me as a rebel. Im such a turn off..

"Ahh... sige utang mo sakin yung kwento ah. Tara na dito na tayo. " he said reaching for his wallet in his pocket.

So I did too.

"Ako na. " he said. "Kuya, ito po bayad namin magkasama na" and gave the money to the driver.

Di na ako nakapagreklamo kasi hinatak nya na ako palabas and we were just in a drop off spot. We can't take that long. The argument can wait.

"Huy, ito oh. Bayad ko. Wag mo na ko suklian, bente lang naman sukli nyan" i told him while trying to give him yung bayad ko dapat for my fare.

He just looked at it and put his arms
across my shoulder. "Treat me some other time nalang Zauny" and he smiled. God that smile.

"Maybe some other time too, Pao-pao" i smirked and took off his hand off my shoulder.

He can be the Ricci Rivero, but my terms and unpredictable standards apply for all men too. Lalo na he's Ricci, it makes more sense for me to prove that I am a woman of integrity.
In short, pasarap muna ako.
