The next day, I get up and get dressed into something smart and comfortable. I was trying to find a job today. Good luck to myself.

Niall was already up and eating. I go down stairs after I'm ready and I get greeted by a kiss.

"I need to leave soon. Call Ash, yeah?" Niall hugs me.

"Protective boyfriends." I mutter knowing Niall could hear me.

"Yep. No denying it. I'll see you tonight babe." Niall laugh at himself.

"Go." I say as Niall leaves.

I stand there for half an hour before I actually make myself a cup of tea. I felt awkward when I rang up Ashton but he didn't have a problem with it. He was so easy going and kind. Just down to earth like all his new found fame doesn't bother him.

A knock comes the door fifteen minutes later. I open the door to Ashton wearing a green bandanna underneath his mob of blonde hair.

We decide to walk into the main city. Apparently there would be more jobs there but who knows. We spend the morning just trying to find anything that was a decent pay and didn't mean me working in a greasy diner.

By dinner time it was exhausted and I literally just wanted to go to sleep but we went out for dinner anyway. It was a cheaper place than where I went with Niall but I felt a lot more comfortable in there. Ash and I just get to know each other and within half an hour we were laughing like there we had known each other for years. People stared at us but I didn't really care. I could be me around him and not be afraid of him judging me.

We split the bill straight down the middle and payed half each.

We took a stroll through a large park that I had never heard of.

"So where do you even want to work?" Ash asks as we walk past a massive lake full of ducks and swans.

"I don't know to be honest. Anywhere that pays well and doesn't make me look like a slag," I laugh, "Thanks though. For helping." I say.

Ash throws his arm around my neck casually.

"That's what I do Jessica." He takes a bow. I laugh at him as we make our way out of the park. We walk around the quieter parts of the city where we walks past a building. It was beautiful. Two stories and had a basement. It was all white and had five cream marble steps leading up to a double door entrance. I stopped walking and just stared at the building. More importantly the for-sale sign. I really wanted it but it would be so far out of my range. It would make a wonderful art gallery and I could paint in the basement and store painting on the second floor.

"I want that Ash. I want it to be my art gallery." I sigh with high hopes.

"Then get it!" Ash exclaims.

"I couldn't afford it."

"It's been on sale for ages. I think it will be cheaper than you think." Ash nudges me. I quickly take a picture of the for-sale sign and the whole building.

We quickly run back to Ash's apartment. It was wild. Everything was a bright vibrant colour and all the walls were filled with random drawings. It was fabulous.

Ashton brings his laptop to the living room. We sit down and I wait as he goes onto the website. Ash scrolls down until we find the building. I look through everything with great detail. A five hundred deposite. That was way too cheap. Plus it was two hundred dollar instalments each months for the next four years. I had just over two thousand pounds. I quickly tried to convert it into dollars.

If the gallery was successful, I would be able to manage to pay it all off and own it. It was so tempting. I wanted to take

the risk but I wasn't a risk taker.

"Do you want to?" Ask asks.

"Yes. No. Maybe. I don't know." I splutter out.

"You have an appointment for next week to view it." Ash clicks a button. I stare at him wide eyed.

"You didn't." I gasp.

"I did."

What had we just done?
