Unexpected

Chapter 24

I woke up still in Niall's arms the next morning. He was still asleep and he looked so adorable. So angelic. I tried to slide out of his arms without waking him which deemed a lot harder than expected. The first thing I did was take a shower. The burning water soothed my skin as I rubbed mint infused shower gel over my body. It smelled wonderful and the best thing is that the smel lasts for a long time.

Once out of the shower, I wrap the towel around my body and walk down stairs. I find the leaflet that Niall was looking at and I pick up my mobile and call the nu,ber. It takes a few rings before someone finally answers.

"Hi?"A boy answers.

"Hi is this Joe?" I ask unsure if I have dialled the right number.

"Yeah it is. Are you wanting something electrical done?" He asks. I cant help but grin at his unproffesionalism.

"Yeah please and as soon as possible. I ned some lights putting in. " I state.

"I can do it today if you wish? As long as you have the lights and it'll be about $50.00."

"Yep thats great!" I give him all the details about my gallery is.

I go upstairs and get dressed into jeggings and a baggy top. I don't have the heart to wake Niall up even though I really should. I plant a kiss on his cheek before I leave. I text Niall goodbye and text Ash to meet me at the gallery. He replies instantly that he'll be there in five minutes.

I walk up the steps to the two glass doors and I open it. I step into the warmer building.

I run down into the basement to finish a drawing. It was mostly made of pointillism and looked really cool. It was a stunning blue lagoon with birds flying across it. This was probably one of my more favourite pieces of work that I've done.

I had one canvas left. I took my pencils out and began drawing. I was just starting to feel the drawing when Ash walked into the room. His smile instantly lifted up the atmosphere in the room.

I quickly explain everything to him about Joe and the lights and then we get into a deep conversation about how I was going to open it. Ash's first option was marvel characters which to be honest did sound quite awesome. But that was crossed off our very short list when we realised no one would find costumes in time.

"How about black and gold?" Ash asks.

I smile at him with a massive grin.

"Classy black and gold." I state and we both nod in agreement.

"But who would even come to the opening?" I ask.

"Well 5sos and One Direction will be there. I think a lot." He winks.

A knock comes from the door and then a shout. It sounds like Joe. I ask Ash to help carry some lights upstairs. But instead he carries all of them like the gentleman he tries to be.

Ash gives Joe the lights and I tell Joe where I would like the lights. He looks about sixteen maybe older with black hair and blue eyes. He gets to work straight away and he works quite fast and ruins my lovely paint work.

Niall walks in through the door. I think he's come straight from a meeting about the tour. I'm surprised Ash wasn't there if I'm correct. Then again, I guess Ash will just wing it and hope for the best.

"I have two massive surprises for you." Niall says just before he bends down and kisses me.

"Tell me?" I ask.

"Well, as the most wonderful boyfriend in the world, I have bought a load of champagne and glasses for whenever you decide to open this place." Niall smiles.

"Thanks you!! And the second?"

"I'm not permitted to say. But what are you going to called your galleria?"

"JNA or ANJ or NJA gallery." I grin.

Jess, Niall, Ash. Me and the two people who made this all possible.

A few hours later Joe is finally finished and I pay him. Niall, Ash and I put stands out and hooks in the walls before we get all the art and place it in its perfect destination.

Niall flicks the switch and all the tone lights come to life. It literally takes my breathe away. This is my gallery and fucking awesome!

I order take out before we delve into further detail of the opening. We decide on the date and times all over one pizza. I can't believe this was really happening. And L.A which is pretty massive for me.

We all agree to go shopping for our outfits tomorrow and announce the opening tomorrow. Ash is going to tweet about it and Niall is going to tell all his producers to spread the word. I honestly don't think my gallery would get any customers if it weren't for the fact that my boyfriend and best friend are from two bands which are pretty massive.

Niall weaves his fingers through mine as we walk home. It's quite dark outside but still warm. I don't think I would ever get over that. We walk slowly until we finally reach Nialls... Our apartment?

"Go get changed." Niall instructs.

"Excuse me?" I arch one of my eyebrows.

"Go get changed into something nice please." Niall smiles. He's so trying to hide something.

"Why?" I ask further.

"Because I'm taking you out." He blushes.

"We just ate." I state. Not thank you or anything. That would be too typical for me.

"We don't have to eat. Just go be girly."

"Ew. Dresses." I sigh and walk upstairs feeling extremely excited. Where are we going? We had never been the "going on dates" kind of couple.

I look through my clothes and push air out of my mouth at the amount of nice clothes I had. None. I dig deeper through my clothes. The stuff I don't wear. Girly stuff. I pull out a few dresses and stare at them. Three dresses. A black skater dress, a white lace dress and a galaxy tight pencil dress. I don't think any of them would suit me so I'd had to decide on shoes first. I didn't own a pair of heels. This was actually going really good for me.

"Niall!" I shout.

"What?"

"I got a problem."

"Which is?"

"I don't have any heels." I almost laugh at myself. I hear Niall come upstairs and walk into the room where I currently sat on the floor.

"What girl has no heels?" He says in shock and I bury my face in my hands.

"Me." I say into my hands.

"I know you don't have any, so I bought you some today."

"Were you planning tonight? Is this the second surprise?" I grin.

"I have been planning this since this morning and no, that's a different surprise." He hands me a Chanel show box and then leaves.

I open the lid and fold back tissue paper to reveal big soled heels covered in silver jewels. They were extremely pretty. Stunning actually.

I grab the galaxy dress and pull it on, instantly feeling uncomfortable at how tight it is and how short it looks. I leave it on anyway and go onto doing my hair and make-up. I quickly curl my hair before doing a smokey eyes and red lips. I slide the heels on and suddenly grow five inches higher.

I glanced in the mirror before trying to walk down stairs.

Niall had obviously changed downstairs because he was wearing black skinny jeans with a white shirt and black blazer along with with vans. He looks hot. He always looks hot.
