Florina's POV:

Another two weeks have passed since our knowledge of me hosting the theater and it was absolutely unproductive. Countless hours were spent in searching for any hint of magic in the medieval times but it was all in vain. Even the famous book, history of magic, which was given to me by Minerva, wasn't of any use.

It was too general.

It spoke only of the era and the wizards that were alive in that era with no mentioning whatsoever of the relationship between muggles and wizards, how were the children taught to control their magic or whether there were even books or educational material in that era.

All this time I was clinging to the hope that the mysterious culprit will show himself or herself again to help me out but they didn't ever since their first cryptic note.

"Rose, I don't know if I can continue anymore," I said as I leaned back in my office one night with handwritten pages littered everywhere around me, "Maybe I should just give it up."

My overly enthusiastic fairy looked up at me from where she was on the ground. She was reading a tiny passage on medieval magic from the book history of magic for the tenth time trying to find a clue or a reference.

In Hogwarts a history, there was not even a single mention of the dark arts or artifacts used during that millennium. Sure it mentions Nicolas flammel's and other famous wizard's own artifacts but those were the wizards present after the dark ages.

So then what happened in that time period and why was this period so hard to find?

Rose shut the book forcefully and gave an annoyed sigh.

"Florina, we don't give up that easily and besides we haven't used our last card yet."

"Which is?" I asked my eyes shut.

"We haven't asked McGonagall or Dumbledore for help," she flew and sat on my desk.

I sighed, "That is the easy route Rose and besides I haven't found anything to begin with. What am I supposed to say when I do meet them? I haven't found anything yet...sorry."
