CHAPTER 15 : Punishment*

Rose's POV:

I couldn't control it. The rage was running deep within me. How dare he casually mention Florina's heritage when our Fairy Queen Nixie specifically ordered him not to. 

How dare he disobey our queen. 

He is going to pay. 

I will make him pay. 

His ancestry hurt my Florina. All it took was one slip up. One tiny slip up from the blabbering mouth and she got cursed. The curse took effect on my poor Florina. She became cursed to live her life in eternal misery. 

From now on, she is to be unloved by anyone who even tries. She cannot have a life, a home, a relationship, a family. She is cursed to live alone forever. How dare he bow to her and be respectful to her when his family is the reason for her suffering?

'What are you doing elf?' I growled in a demonic voice. 

She didn't respond but kept staring at me and did her weird ritualistic lullaby. I knew what she was trying to do but I won't let her. At least not now. Not until I am done with this coward. 

I hate the fact that I transformed but I couldn't help it. I will bring misery on all of them. Every single one of his treacherous bloodline will pay for what they did to Florina.

The annoying elf kept rubbing my hands and singing in her annoying voice. I couldn't stand it anymore. I turned to see Florina running to aid Snape. Now is my chance. 

With all my might, I pushed the retched elf aside with one hand and she fell on the floor immobile. I could tell that she wasn't expecting it, it caught her by surprise. I won't be the cute little fairy anymore when my carrier's life is on the line. I will do anything for her.

I moved closer to the ghost, aware that my transformation was getting more and more intense by the minute. I knew that if I stayed too long in this form, I might not be able to transform back. But I didn't care. I have to give him a piece of my mind.

'LOOK HERE YOU COWARD' I growled 'Everything that you said to Florina will be reported to Nixie and—'

He immediately jumped in shaking with fear ' No! No please! Anything but that. I am truly very sorry. I...I didn't know she was THE Florina Woods from the noble –'

'I DON'T CARE FOR YOUR APOLOGY! The damage has been done. Florina is aware of the family. THE CURSE TOOK EFFECT! You were told VERY CLEARLY that once a descendant of the retched family becomes aware of the curse, it will take effect. And the poor thing had been –'

I couldn't continue that sentence. It broke my heart every time I think of it. I couldn't control my tears. I couldn't hover over the floor anymore and dropped to my knees sobbing in my hands.

For years! For years, I was trying to protect her from the ugly truth. I knew it was coming. I have seen it coming. I thought maybe if she wasn't told of the family, it will protect her. I thought if she taught at Hogwarts she will be safe from the ugly past.'

I felt another wave of hatred and rage. Quickly, I started hovering again facing him 'The ugly past that was smudged by ALL YOU FILTHY HUMANS! I thought she would be safe from David, Patrick's memory, Bubbles, Oliver and most of all, the cruel Stella.'

'And even you and your disgusting family. But no! All of you started appearing one after the other. Just waiting to ruin her life. Couldn't you all wait!'
