Both Florina and Severus raised their brows in sync at the man who claims to be Davies. They stared him down confused but also silent. After a moment, the witch managed to clear her throat.
"You are Agrippa's brother?" she said cautiously.
He nodded a wide smile on his face. "And you must be...Florina Woods," he said his eyes twinkling.
She scrunched up her face confused. "How did you k—" she was interrupted by the grinning ghost, "How do I know who you are? Your eyes. Anyone with those piercing ocean blue eyes cannot be left unrecognized Miss Woods. Even in our realm you are quite famous. Anyone from the fami—"
Rose suddenly cleared her throat and the ghost turned to her. His grin intensified and gave her a subtle greeting nod which she gladly accepted with a nod of her own.
He turned to Florina, "My apologizes Miss Woods. I wasn't aware you weren't informed of your....ancestry yet. Hopefully you will be told someday by...a very close companion."
The witch was feeling even more bewildered than ever. She knew he meant Rose when he said 'a very close companion'. He was trying his best to be subtle in front of Severus. Everyone she met in this journey were all hinting at the same thing.
Rose must be the one to inform me of all these secrets.
Her curiosity levels were high. However she was aware she couldn't ask her fairy all the questions she has been dying to ask. Her fairy promised her she will answer her questions once they were in a secluded place but that opportunity never came. Everything that happened to her up until that point weren't leaving any room for some private time with her fairy.
Florina sighed and nodded in disappointment. Upon seeing the ghost, Rose grinned as if she saw an old friend. She however didn't step forward to greet the ghost and stayed behind. His greeting went unnoticed by both Severus and Florina in the dim light.
After another brief moment of silence, the grinning ghost pointed at the unconscious wizard, "What happened to him?" he asked concerned.
"A minor accident," Severus replied coldly staring at the ghost with intensity.
The ghost nodded. He turned to the witch and saw her staring back at him with confusion and chuckled. The color in her cheeks rose and she moved forward to take a better look at the ghost.
He nodded as if he knew what was going through the witch's mind.
"My brother must have told you about me Miss Woods" he said calmly "Knowing him though, he must have told the tale of how he was overshadowed by his brilliant successful brother. How he was misunderstood and cast out. How he was just a scrawny sheepish boy who was very hardworking but his parents never gave him a chance to prove himself."
