An apparition noise boomed in the middle of the night in a dark abandoned alleyway.

It was an old man wearing a frail wizard hat and an equally matching grey robes. He dusted his robes once and fixed his hat. The extremely cold wind hit his face making him shiver slightly. He however didn't give it much attention. He was on a mission determined to see it through.

He tried his best to control the anger within him and the icy environment was somewhat aiding him in doing so.

He however couldn't hide his red face and his flaring nose. Taking a deep breath, he began walking along the narrow foul smelling road his pace quickened with every step forward. The buildings around him were wrecked and abandoned, as if a massive disaster happened prior to their collapse.

At the end of the road stood a relatively small house with only two windows on its front. It seemed to be untouched and fully erect unlike its surroundings, standing high and mighty. The light within the house was lit up signifying that its inhabitants were awake. The old man spotted the house and walked swiftly to it along the road.

How dare she have the audacity to fool me?! he thought angrily. How dare she lie to me?! She said nothing would happen as long as I don't read it. I haven't even read the first chapter of the book, I only took a quick glance. The book cursed me regardless. She needs to be taught a lesson, no one fools me.

The old man tried to mask his anger by his warm and deceiving smile and the innocent twinkle in his eyes.

A few moments later, he was standing in front of the house. It was a small two story structure with no front yard or backyard. The door was just about his height made of blackwood and its handle had a cobra engraved in it.

He took a few deep breaths and knocked firmly on the door. For a few minutes there was total silence around him making the environment unsettling. When he was met with dead silence, he knocked once more harder the noise from the knock piercing the unsettling silence.

At that, he heard a surprised gasp from within. It seemed the inhabitant was bewildered by the late visit. The gasp was followed by faint footsteps that got closer to the door quickly but cautiously.

The person within got quiet for a moment and said in a thick whisper, "Who is it?"

The voice belonged to a woman and it seemed she was trying to mask her voice in a whisper.

The old man immediately forced a warm smile. "Miss Wilson," he spoke calmly "it's me Professor Dumbledore."

"Oh," the woman replied simply and slowly opened the door only a few inches. She peered her head out of the door and gave him a surprised gaze.

"Is there anyone with you Professor?" she whispered turning her head left and right.

The headmaster chuckled, "Don't worry dear Stella, it's just me."

She gave him an odd look not entirely convinced. That didn't last for long however as she slowly opened the door for him to enter. He slipped in quickly and shut the door behind him with a thud.

Stella was taken aback by his urgency yet she let him enter.

Once he was in, his smile suddenly fell and he stared at her without blinking once. She frowned in confusion and slight fear at the intense stare from the headmaster. Without a warning, Dumbledore swiftly took out his wand and cast a green spell that hurdled towards Stella.
