Florina's POV:

"What are we doing Flora?" Rose asked as we walked to a different dungeon just like the one my quarters was in.

"You will love it trust me," I was running excitedly as we got closer to our destination.

"Love what?" she huffed as she flew to keep up.

"You will see," I whispered enjoying her anticipation.

When we reached the broad stone corridor that was brightly lit with torches, I began to search for the giant silver bowl fruit painting. The wall was entirely decorated with cheerful paintings that were mainly with food.

"Aha! There it is!" I exclaimed triumphantly as I stood in front of the painting. I then tickled the green pear as it began to squirm and chuckle, but began to turn into a green door handle.

"It's a door," Rose said in realization.

"You bet! But wait there is more," I turned the handle and went inside the enormous room with a high ceiling and closed the door behind me. It was as large as the great hall with mounds of brass pots and pans heaped around the stone walls and a great brick fireplace at the other end. Rose went ahead of me completely awe-struck by the scene in front of her.

I nodded happily, "See! What did I tell you?"

Rose whirled around as slowly realization dawned on her, "So this is the..."

"Hogwarts's Kitchen...yes," I grinned as we continued to contemplate the area around us.

She turned to me anxious, "But Flora, are you sure we are supposed to be here?"

I shook my head in a don't-you-worry gesture, "Of course I am sure. I used to come here with Patrick and --" I immediately stopped not being able to go on.

She put a hand on my shoulder and whispered, "You know what to do," nudging me forward.

I nodded and started to think of what the healers told me until the pain of his absence went away. We finally arrived at the inside of the kitchen where hundreds of house elves were too busy cooking. They all noticed my presence and most of them came running to me with happy faces.

Rose, out of reflex, flew back a few steps thinking that they were going to be angry but rather they moved forward to show their happiness to see me.

"Wait! What? There are not going to kick us out," she whispered to me still looking stunned at the house elves.

"See! That's the best part. They love this job and will bring you whatever you ask for," I nodded at the happy faces all wanting to serve me.

One of the most joyful house elves I have ever seen took a step forward and bowed, "Miss, what can we get you?"
