Florina's POV:

I was sleeping on a very comfy bed. The bed was so comfortable that even after I heard my room's door open, I didn't want to lift my head to see who it was.

I heard wings fluttering and then a quiet thud beside me. That mysterious person must have placed something on the nightstand.

They said in a sweet melodic voice, "Oh Miss Woods you are awake, thank the heavens."

The voice was a female and it was the sweetest voice I have ever heard. She came closer to me and examined my hands.

I saw her clearly now and she was the most wonderful creature I have ever laid eyes upon. She was glowing beautifully with golden light, tall and slim. Her complexion was very fair and she had long golden blonde hair that flew in the lightest wind. Her face was round and extremely cute with both dimples on either side of her cheeks.

I looked into her eyes and I noticed that they were hazel. But not just any hazel. The caramel in her eyes was glittering madly.

I was puzzled. What was that creature and why did it come to my room?

I heard soft fluttering from behind the creature. Squinting my eyes, I saw a pair of golden wings fluttering behind her the entire time.

"What are you? Did...did I die? Are you an angel? Am I... am I in heaven?" I asked weakly as I resisted the urge to part with the extremely soft covers beneath me.

"Oh my poor soul, no you are not dead honey," she said sweetly with a hint of sadness evident in her voice.

"What? But Why? This doesn't look like Earth. We don't have creatures with wings. We don't have pure creatures like you. We only have people who steal and murder," I ranted.

"Good heavens!" she exclaimed patting my hand "I am extremely sorry for your unfortunate experiences Miss Woods –"

"I don't need your sympathy!" I exclaimed at once in anger making her jump " I just want to know where am I."

"I... I can't tell you my dear but all I can say is, you are right, we are not on Earth."

"Listen lady, if this is some sort of joke –" I shouted at her attempting to get out of bed.

She held me down and suddenly kissed my forehead. That peculiar action made me lay back down on the soft covers.

She smiled sweetly, "Please Miss Woods, I wouldn't do such things. I wouldn't lie to you my dear, ever. You will understand everything when you heal but for now you need to sleep."

Swiftly, she injected some shiny pink solution into my arm. The minute the solution entered my blood stream, I felt totally relaxed and oddly happy. It left a very peculiar feeling inside me. I felt like I was flying and sinking at the same time.

I have never felt more content.

The creature noticed how relaxed it made me and smiled in relief, "Feels good doesn't it. It's called relaxin. Ironic, isn't it?" she chuckled.

I nodded happily in a total daze and after a few moments, I slowly drifted to sleep.

I don't know how long I slept for, was it days?

Perhaps weeks?

Maybe even months?

The time didn't matter at all. Time was irrelevant in that place. One thing I knew for sure was that I have been here sleeping for a very long time.
