A few more moments, they emerged from the tunnel as it ejected them with force. Rose looked around her to see the last place she would want to be stuck in.

She heard the misery and the howls of the wandering souls. She heard their pleads to the Gods above to save them from their despair. It was a fate worse than hell. Every one of them were stuck in their own mind, lonely, begging for an escape.

There was no sense of direction in a place like this. It just outstretched from every direction.

They couldn't see which direction is which. It was pitch blackness and nothing more. The only source of light was the glowing fairy.

Once she landed in his realm, her yellowish shimmering glow started to fade gradually. They couldn't see the howling souls and they couldn't see each other. Every soul was trapped alone in the nothingness.

Suddenly Augustus stopped abruptly. Both the fairy and Davies didn't see him halt and they collided with him. This took the ghost by surprise and his grip on Florina weakened. Rose, feeling her carrier's grip loosen, didn't pass the opportunity and snatched the witch from his hands.

Once her best friend was in her arms, the fairy cried loudly kissing her all over her face in terror but happiness. Davies also took the chance and stood between them and Augustus's outstretched hands that wanted to steal Florina back.

"What is happening? Where are we?" the witch whispered to her fairy shivering from the sudden cold.

She got back to her senses and gained full control of her limbs back. Blinking in the darkness, all she could hear were chilling howls and screams that terrified her.

They were all hovering in the nothingness, their feet not steady on a solid ground. They were all dangling in the dark space. Rose was holding Florina tightly in her arms refusing to let her go.

The fairy knew she had to hold her best friend tightly or else she will fall down the dark abyss. Falling down in such abyss means losing her forever, free falling until the end of time.

She whispered back, "Don't concern yourself with that now. You are not supposed to be here. After a few minutes, we both will be trapped here an—"

Agrippa interrupted, "Oh my dear fairy! Who said you will be leaving?"

"What is happening? Why did that..." Florina pointed with disgust at Augustus who grinned nastily "thing bring me here?"

"Oh, please give me the honors of answering that one my dear old friend," he raised his hand as if they were at school giving them a nasty smirk.

His request was rhetorical and immediately jumped in, "My dear lady, you see your friend's warnings to stay away from me were absolutely correct," he gasped faking shock "What a shocker! I know. Your unbinding ritual was actually to unbind.....me! I was a VERY bad boy in the past and these good people right here," he pointed hastily at the two glaring at him "chained me up with an ancient enchantment for TWENTY FIVE YEARS!"

Florina swallowed a hard lump. "Then how –" he interrupted her immediately

"Then how I figured out the simple enchantment that consisted only of four verses and ingredients all present inside of my brother's cave? Oh that took a lot of hard work. Like my brother told you earlier, I am a hardworking boy." Davies snorted glaring at him.

"You see, the ritual you performed was indeed to unbind the book of its chains, but the few verses at the end weren't. Tweaking the words to match my case was by far the easiest part of it all. Not to mention the blood that I made your greasy boy drip in both times. It was all for me. Oh! And the "sin" that you needed to commit. And dripping the blood of a..." he got closer to her face and spat "...virgin."
