Florina's POV :

As November came around the corner, it brought the cold and icy weather with it. Although the weather was a bit of a bother to the students, the upcoming events rose their spirits and made them forget the chilliness. It was the Quidditch season as the first game of it would be held on Saturday, Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. And of course, like a true and loyal Slytherin myself, I was going to support my house team even though some of them were...

"......Jackasses is the word you're looking for," I pointed out as I poked my head from the closet. It was Saturday morning and almost ten o'clock as I was getting ready for the match while having a light conversation with Rose about my alliance.

"Exactly!" Rose exclaimed fixating me with a bewildered look "Why would you support them?"

"It's not like I am donating money or something," I simply shrugged "I have my reasons." I took my green robes that I especially bought for the occasion and smoothed it out.

"Such as?"

I scrunched up my face, "Well... one, I am a Slytherin so... house pride" I counted on my fingers as I went on "two, it would be awkward to support another house while everyone knows that I am a Slytherin. Three, the view is fantastic from our spectating stand and who wouldn't want that."

She chuckled nodding, "You forgot number four, Severus is going to be there too."

My smile fell immediately and was replaced with a slight frown. "Well, I am not exactly sure he would want me to be with him. He made that crystal clear every time I showed up."

"As much as I don't agree with you wanting to be his friend, I have to say he still needs you. Nobody likes the taste of medicine but it heals us."

I smiled at her and nodded. "So," I clapped my hands once "the sooner I am done here, the sooner we could eat, wouldn't you agree?"

Nodding once, she flew out of the bedroom and waited for me in the living room until I was done. After ten minutes, I came out revealing my grass green cloak-less robes that hugged my body comfortably and gave me the hourglass shape that I desired and my onyx black boots.

Rose gaped at me and I chuckled at her expression. She surveyed me from head to toe for a few moments speechless and visibly swallowed.

"Hey!" I snapped my fingers when she paused at my chest for a few uncomfortable seconds "my eyes are up here you know."

"Oh...uh...sorry for...for that," her cheeks got extremely red and lowered her head.

I found her embarrassment hilarious since we are best friends and there was nothing to be ashamed of. I busted out laughing which made her want to sink deeper in a hole.

After I calmed myself down, Rose retrieved something from my drawer and flew towards me.

She whispered, "The finishing touch" as she added a green rose in my up-do.

I nodded thanking her.

We both headed out the door with Rose fluttering behind me. As we got closer to the dungeon stairs, we heard a door open and footsteps catching up to us. Whirling around, I saw a silhouette of a man dressed up all in black and I beamed.

"Good morning Sir," I greeted the wizard "you are going to the game too?"

He didn't reply immediately but rather just stared at me for a few moments which made me blush feeling uncomfortable and looked down at my feet.
