Melody's pov

"Hey Melody, do you want to go swimming with all of us?" Zach asked.

"Not with stitches I can't" I replied.

"I'm sorry I-"
"No it's ok"

He gave me a sympathetic look and went outside.

That's what it has been like these past three days. Someone asking me if I want to do something, then me saying I can't because of the stitches. So basically all I have been doing is sitting on the couch and waiting for them all to come home. Don't get me wrong, there have been nice moments. Like when we had the campfire then a movie night, so it hasn't been awful. Just frustrating.

"I'll tell Melody, you guys get ready" I heard Dani mutter to the guys and then make his way over to me.

"Tell me what?" I said cautiously.

"We uh"

"Dani"

"We have to go perform at some girl's birthday party back in LA" he said.

"When?" I asked.

"In a few hours"

"Seriously?" I said.

"And you and Christina should stay here for the last day, so it won't be a waste" he said.

"There's no way of canceling?"

"Yeah, I'm sorry"

"Did you at least try"

"No I didn't push that we should cancel making a girl happy on her birthday. Please, Melody, think of someone else other than yourself for once" he yelled.

"Oh I'm sorry that I'm being selfish for wanting to spend time with my boyfriend"

"Whom you see everyday!" he yelled.

"Yeah and how long will that last?"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"In the fall. When I have to go back to school"

"You're going back to that hell hole?"

"Yeah, I'd like to be a highschool graduate" I yelled back.

"Whatever Melody"

"You can't be seriously mad at me for wanting to graduate"
"All I can say is that I thought our relationship was different then what it is" he said storming upstairs.

I was infuriated with him, so I stormed outside instead.

Over the next few minutes every boy except Dani popped their head out the door to say goodbye. I gave them a slight wave and then they would leave.

"How are you doing?" Christina asked sitting next to me.

"Just great" I said.

"Dani is really upset, or he was before they left"

"He should be"

"What did he say?"

"He basically said that our relationship is disappointing"

"That doesn't sound like Dani"

"You're telling me"

"Well, what did you say to him?"

"First I told him that I wish he would cancel the performance and then I told him in the fall that I'm going back to Portland so I can graduate"

"Wait, you're going back?"

"Yeah"

"No wonder he's mad! He loves you and you're leaving him to go back to a place he worked so hard to get you out of"

"Christina, I'm leaving to graduate! Not to party"
"Still, you can go to a high school here. It's not like you have friends at your old school"

"Wow, thanks"

"That's not what I mean"

"It's what you said" I said running inside and up to my room.

A minute later Christina came banging on my door.

"Go away" I yelled.

"I just want to talk"

"You're supposed to be my best friend, and you can't even look at my side of things!"

"I'm sorry, but that's just how I interpreted this whole thing"

"Oh that Dani's right and I'm selfish and crazy"

"No I mean kinda but-"

"Just go away Christina"

"Melody I'm sorry"

"I don't care, leave me alone"

(A/N) And so the fights begin. Don't forget to smile, vote, comment, and possibly share.
